I pass by the one by my house on the to/from work every day. Small store though so I tend to prefer the Cabelas about 20 minutes away because it is twice the size. Guess which one I visit more though...

Re: Bass Pro Shops

The people in Baton Rouge have it good. The Bass Pro Shop in Denham Springs is about 10 miles east of Baton Rouge and the Cabela's is about 15 miles south of Baton Rouge. It does make a good trip for me because Baton Rouge also has an Apple Store (I'm a Mac) between the two.

East Hartford, CT and Scarborough, ME are open... You see the Maine one from the highway on your way up to LL Bean.

Re: Bass Pro Shops

I have a Bass Pro ~15 miles away and a Gander Mountain ~30 miles away. Life is good.

Re: Bass Pro Shops

Bass Pro Shops makes the Devil Site look like an angel! Those SOBs have everything a guy would want and then they add all that girly crap that the wives go crazy over.

I need a second mortgage every time I visit Springfield MO, not to mention the stores in Columbia, St. Louis and Kansas City. They are everywhere now!

All they need is to add walk-in humidors and most of us would really go broke.

Ditto, Cabelas is not even in the same category. BassPro is like a glorified SuperWalmart sporting goods section...IMO

Re: Bass Pro Shops

I'm like a kid in a candy store in those places. It takes every ounce of self control not to drop a line in any of the waterfall pools and take home a trout, bass, or sturgeon for that matter!
