APPLE customer service is the BEST

So the lower RAM slot failed in my Powerbook, this is a known problem but it was WELL outside my warranty. Called in and they said they would make an exception and fix it for free. The next night I was backing up all my data and my HD failed. I sent it in just expecting them to fix the RAM slot. Sent it out on Wednesday, got it back today.....with a new 120GB HD (I had a 80GB HD) a new RAM slot and upgraded software. They went way above and beyond. Just thought I'd share

That's great news. I haven't had a problem with my Macbook Pro (yet) but I hope the customer service is as good as yours if I do end up having a problem. I've probably dropped my 3G iPhone could 25 times and it's holding up quite well. I am a fan of all Apple products...great experiences from all my purchases.

thats is very nice of them! i'm a active mac user myself, and that story tells me they care.
but then again they get you with the $$$ of their accessories.

I know lots of people slam Apple...I love them.

My 80GB Ipod's harddrive crapped out about 3-4 weeks out of warranty. I had bought it at the Apple Store.

They just handed me a new one.

I agree they have the best support. I've used them a couple of times for my ipod, great service and fast.

[SIZE=3]I recently had to have the battery replaced in my Macbook pro (it was one of the bad ones they extender the warrantee on) and had the pleasure of talking to a person that had a wonderful command over the English language and if I had to guess I would shy that he was actually in the US. Further more I received outstanding service and had my replacement part in my hand the next morning. What more could you ask for? Apple rocks![/SIZE]

No joke....I seriously called in just to make sure that I wasn't magically going to receive a bill in the mail in a few days for 3-4 hundred dollars. The rep said no, and I said; "you have just earned a customer for life Sir!" Not that I wasn't already

I have the latest generation imac and absolutely love it!!! I have never had to use their customer service.

I wish I could claim the same. I have had an Apple TV for 4 months and they still can't get it to work. They won't send another one either. I'm pretty pissed.
