Holy sweet Jesus....looks awful but hope everything went well and that you're recovering swiftly. Great to see you back online! (I posted that somewhere else but didn't see this thread)

Yeah Zack, I had surgery for a patella relocation, lateral z lengthening, and an arthoscopy.

About what mine looked like. Here is to a quick recovery. Did you have to have the drain for a couple days and measure the output? My best advice is don't push it too early and be really consistant with your rehab. Best of luck.

I had no drainage at all actually and no much pain considering the operation.

Re: Post operation photos [warning, yucky]

Wow thats awesome. On the drugs I didn't have much pain either but I was a moron and let the pain meds wear off on about the third day. Wanted to see if I really needed them. Not smart. Felt like someone was holding a blowtorch to my leg. The 30 min until the percoset kicked back in was brutal. My surgeon described the surgery as "advanced carpentry". LOL. Glad to hear you aren't hurting.
Cheers

Today I made the mistake of going out to breakfast and shopping at Target. Needless to say, I had 2 Percs when I got home.

LOL. Yeah that happens. I got so frustrated but also used to being laid up that I would forget/ignore I really shouldn't crutch 4 blocks to the coffee shop. Glad to hear you are no worse for wear.

I have a brace that I can walk on. I don't use crutches. I'm super clumsy in crutches.

Actually, bro... looks like it is doing well! Glad it is healing up and the pain is under control.

Are you smoking any cigars?

I am smoking the Tatuaje Monster Series "The Frank". That's my first smoke since surgery.
