If you are a taylormade fan jump on this one. I have played Titleist practically my whole golfing life, but if I wasn't already stubbornly biased I would be investing in a new set of taylormade clubs. If you buy though, don't buy over your ability. I used to hate getting a guy with an 18hcp on the range who just bought the new 8.5 degree driver and blade irons because that is what his favorite touring pro plays. "I bought the best. why can't I hit them". I never told them they bought wrong I just used to go to the lost and found and get the cheapest offset iron in the box and make them hit 10 balls. It was usually followed with a four letter word. If you are an average golfer get 10 to 10.5 degree driver and oversized offset irons. If you want to really do yourself a favor get fitted. It makes quite the difference.

Apparently, the code only has a shelflife of 15 uses....

I am excited for you. There is nothing like getting a new set of clubs. I haven't had new irons since '03 I think. The last new club I got was the Tit. 905r driver when it came out. I hit it so well I told the rep there has to be something wrong with it everything was down the middle. Of course since I don't play much anymore I have fixed that little problem.

I am looking on with envy. Those are supposed to be GREAT irons!!
