Golf season is right around the corner!!!

Went to the range today and man i love my new irons!!! Was alittle cold, but it was great to finally hit some balls. Since i'm in the midwest, we can't do any golfing in the winter months, thank god its almost over!!!! Whoelse can't wait to get out there? Now all i need is a new driver (since i threw it in the water last golf trip.....just an excuss to buy a new one) and i'll be set!!!

I can't wait to get in a full round!! I've been to the range a half doxen times and walked 5 holes last week. It's hard when it's mild weather, but just not quite warm enough to play comfortably.

What new irons did you get? What driver are you looking for? I need to go ahead and re-grip mine soon. Hate the only shop we have in town(owner is a pompous ass and a rip-off), so I'll do them myself again this year.

We still need a Club Stogie golf tournament/herf!! Bet we could get some big sponsors and a pretty big turn out!?!

Yea Club Stogie golf tournament/herf would be awesome!!!! I got Mizuno mx-17s....i must have hit about 20 different clubs and those babies were awesome. I'm looking at the new Ping G5 driver....not sure yet.......maybe if it gets in the 50's i'll go out for a few holes

Will be golfing in Florida in two weeks and before you know it ,this freakin snow will be gone in Mass and I will be golfing weekly again !

Been out twice in NJ, played 18 holes both times. Can't imagine 60 degree weather in January!

Do yourself a favor and get your driver and fairway woods on E-bay!!! Try the Titleist 983 series driver or the Cleveland launcher!! Best I've played thus far! You can get 2 drivers for the price of one and sell whichever you don't end up keeping!!

Just got a new Cleveland Laucher 460 Comp 9.5* with a Graffalloy ProLaunch Blue stiff shaft. They are discontinued for the new 2006 Ti460s. I love the Comp, so had to grab one before they're gone. I am playing 18 on Sat. The mountains have got a TON of snow, but although it's been dry in Denver, we've had a very windy winter here. It looks like mid 50's, sunny and only a slight breeze for Sat. Let the games begin!

I got new irons last year and have one round in on them.. I traded in my Taylor Made RAC's for Wishon 770 CFE.. I know youv'e never heard of them.. They rock-n-roll. I am a big fan of the Taylor Made drivers. I have the r5 and I can hit that bad boy a long way.. Face is hot. We still have two more months before the courses open up.. 3 more until I get the boat on the lift.

I used to be a pretty good golfer until life got real busy. I doubt I could shoot under a 100 since my 6 year leave from the game. This is the year I pick up the clubs again. Great sport and Im really looking foward to hitting the range again.

The golf bug has me bad...Been cutting into the smoking budget at the moment, a lot of great buys on E-bay and I just ordered new hybrid clubs (Taylor Made knockoffs) can't wait to try them out.

I dont golf, but backpacking season is just around the corner, and I am ready to start going out without having to worrying about weathering a big storm. Golf, I need to learn a little bit about it before I embarass myself on a course.
