America's Cup
Are there any other sailors here? The AC starts tomorrow(sat in New Zealand). It's a shame the USA didn't win the Louis Vuitton and have a chance to bring the cup home. Also it's crazy how a land-locked country like Switzerland could take the cup there. I doubt it...NZ will be too fast.

I guess you could say that I am a sailboat man. Was on the ocean racing team in college and lived aboard a 52 foot ketch for 4 years sailing the Caribbean and Gulf with my wife and two kids.
I don't think the wife would do it again, but I would.

edisonbird, what are some of your favorite islands? I lived in the virgins for two years. I do miss it down there.

another name for people in the ocean, "BAIT!!"
I can't help it, I'll run into a burning house but the ocean is just too much. I seem to have a phobia of being eaten by big fish. I'll stick to the trout streams

well, NZ is down 0-3, No team has come back from 3 down to win. I hope the Kiwi's can stage a comeback.
