Man, I was wracking my brain all freaking day because I thought I'd post a thread about this and then I just plumb forgot.

AND NOW THE BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD.....I remembered! Just now, this very second. Someone take a memo.

Anyhoo....

For those who know me, I love this joint we call Club Stogie so this ain't a rant. Okay, maybe a little bit.

But as I've indicated above, my little 'ol brain of 35 years is feeble. It was feeble years back, has gotten feebler (ok, alright, more feeble - i just like the word I may have made up but I'm not entirely certain) and is sure to get even more feeble in the years, no, minutes, no, SECONDS, to come.

Especially if I continue to drink my neighbors' JW Blue & stick cigars up my nose.

So how the heck am I supposed to remember where the heck you're from anyway if you don't tell me where you're from in your little name/posts/"where you at" doohickie whenever you make a post?

Oftentimes, I'll click on your name & then 'About Me' to see if it's not clearly posted yet cleverly hidden within (you tricky bastage)....so that's why all of you, I'm sure, have seen me lurking in your homepage.

I'm watching you.

And damn it, some of you are super sleuths and keep your whereabouts hidden or even come up with a cute little location like: "I'm here, duh". Oh, if this actually is your location (oh, there you are, right here) (or you've actually put this on your page), I most definitely do not mean to attack you personally.

I just want to know where you live so I can stalk you, kill you, and then steal all of your cigars.

Is that what you're afraid of? Because, of course, you should be because I'm just crazy like that...but alas, perhaps it's another reason.

I realize it could be because you don't want to disclose that you're a proud American citizen (for reasons related to CC trades, buys & such). Is that it?

This haunts me daily so I thought I'd post to actually find out the reason.

What's yours, smart guy, not telling a guy with a feeble memory where you're from?

That was really an obnoxious post. Might try slowing down the typing and making it clearer.

For the most part, I always get to know my friends on here well enought o remember where they are from. I also keep a running spreadsheet of addys that both I have bombed and been bombed by.

Wow, I didn't mean to come across obnoxious, although I sometimes am, I'll admit.

I just think it helps to know where the guy to whom I'm posting is from, you know? Even newbs without locations don't mention where they're from. I think it would be helpful.

And I was just curious why fellas don't display it proudly.

Let me help you with that shovel there, Kayak, before you dig a deeper hole. The brother here does not post obnoxious threads and most assuredly isn't trying to pi$$ in your cheerios but rather is trying to let others know on here that this forum is filled with mostly good people that he probably would like to be able to send some good will out to them,,,it's what we do here. We aren't here to sell you vacuum cleaners or encyclopedias or spam you with stuff on how to get generic viagra by the 50 gallon drum. I vouch for mrreindeer's integrity and character and when you call out another brother by stating that his comments were obnoxious when you really do not know him smacks of discrimination on a forum where we pride ourselves of being open and courteous. If you would take a minute and see what he posts on here I think you would agree,,,and if you don't agree then at least keep the negative comments somewhere else. A difference of opinion is one thing, to bash anothers comments is stuff that belongs on a playground sandbox.

I'm thinking a PM to the brother is in order,,,just my humble ( prickly ) opinion.

A bit excitable at times but it is only because of his passion for things he loves, this place included. Let's cut each other some slack.

Edit: Since you kinda contorted what was said, I never attacked him as a member. I questioned his delivery and possible use of a different approach. He didnt seem all bent out of shape....

I think because we are typing our words with no emotion or personality attached, we sometimes misread how the other is trying to relay the message. CS is not about this back and forth stuff, just good friends, good times and good cigars. We all make mistakes and bad posts sometimes. Let's hug it out

As far as how you answer another brother(s) on here it doesn't take a Columbo to see where you come from.

Lol,,,you should know that my heart was ripped out in first grade by that cute little blond haired girl that sat in front of me while I pulled her pigtails so that she would notice me. She never did and alas I am now an emotionally crippled man with barely a keyboard to keep me company.
