How much do you drink?

I used to be a heavy liquor drinker. My favorites were Glenlivet, Southern Comfort and Cuervo Gold. My mixed drink of choice was Bacardi and Diet Coke. Back when I drank liquor, it was easy to have a dozen drinks in a night and still stand. I used to smoke cigarettes back then, too. I quit cigarettes over a decade ago and prefer to dapple with cigars now. I also drink wine and coffee and haven't had liquor in over five years. Usually I have 3-4 glasses of wine on weekend evenings. I love Barefoot Cellars for economy wine with great flavor - when you have guests and want to serve plenty. Pindar is another favorite. When I'm feeling heady from the wine, I sober up with Kona coffee (it's rich when it's the pure stuff, I order online at https://konaluna.com to be sure because the blends are no better than Maxwell House) or espresso. Once in awhile I make Cuban coffee when we want something sweet and dark.

I'm a craft beer/homebrew enthusiast. I typically drink the higher alcohol styles like Imperial Stouts, Double IPA's, Barley Wines and Belgian Ales.

Sun. - Thurs. usually 2-3 tops. On Fri. & Sat. nights usually 3-4 each night. Of course while I'm enjoying a cigar or two.

Good beer (mostly imported stuff, $4+ a bottle)
Better liquor (14+ yr single malts, cognac, and quite a few other varieties)

Drinks a night... zero.

IF i'm drinking.... 1-4 shots // 1-7 beers

Thats enough to do me in. I'm a lightweight. I know.

Least it makes it affordable to drink the good stuff, and leaves a few $ left over for cigars

I remember in my Army days drinking about two or three pots of coffee a day. At one assignment, the men just put the coffee pot on my desk and plugged it in there. We called it lifer juice back then. Now it's two cups on most days, sometimes three, and a couple of cups of tea.

I like Single Malts, usally 1 or 2 of an evening after supper with my fav stick. Other than that, sometimes I'll have a glass of Cab with my meal in the evenings. That's it, not exactly purile, but close! LOL

I always have good stuff in the house. Right now that includes Glenlivet 16 year old, El Mayor Anejo, Conecuh Ridge, Zaya Rum and a good bottle of port. I also have several good bottles of imported ales.

All that being said, I rarely drink during the week and may only have one or two drinks on the weekends.

Unless, of course, one of my sons come over and then we'll sit out back and drink a few more.

Probably 2-3 times a week and it's just enough to get a buzz going.

Hmmm...

On any given weeknight I'll usually have a beer or two, or a dram or two of scotch. Maybe a little more on the weekend, unless it's a night out.

I can probably put down 8-10 drinks without having to make apologies the next day. That's usually my preference.

If I'm up in Buffalo for St Patty's day festivities, putting away wings and pizza logs all night, the Labatt Blues go down easy. I can put away 20-25 in a night easy, and still go out for breakfast when the sun comes up.

Regularly though, I keep around a 12pk.

I'm always up in Buffalo...and the Blues always go down easy!

All depends on the evening. I might have a beer or two on a weekday. Or, like yesterday, I had 12 beers during 6 hours of football. Or, if with a certain group of buddies, we attempt stupid frat-boy like volumes of beer (multiple 30 packs; finish a keg in 6 hours with 6 guys; harsh drinking games; etc).

That being said; I can drink a lot... but usually don't. Yet, I'll have a brew tonight just because of this post.
