It's Thanksgiving week, what are you thanlful for?

My family and I had a tough go of things (I have explained in previous posts). All in all I can say we came out alright. My business is booming, we upgraded the house and have two beautiful children that have everything they could want (except a cel phone for my daughter, her grades suck). What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? I am thankful for my wife, kids, job, new home and my entire family whose support and love have gotten me through a bunch of s&^t. Plus we are all here, I am thankful for that.

Waking up in the morning!!

I am thankful for having a great family and a great group of friends. They've kicked me in the butt when necessary (even though I didn't think I needed it) and give me a pat on the back when I least expected it. No matter what was going on, their love and support has never waivered.

I am thankful for all the men and women who are currently protecting this country allowing me to live the life I do. I am thankful for all the the men and woman who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country, allowing me to live the life I do. Things may not be perfect here in the states, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

On this holiday of thanks, I wish all of us could be with the ones we love, however if you can't, maybe say a little prayer and be thankful they are/have been a part of your life, for without them we wouldn't be the person we are.

Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday. Even as a child. I've much to be thankful for.

Apart from the usual stuff that almost everyone is thankful for (family, friends, and life itself), I am thinking a lot about our brothers and sisters in the armed forces, including the Canadians serving in Afghanistan. Everytime I sit on my deck in my underwear smoking a Tatuaje with my dog by my side and birds chirping in the trees, I give a littl salute to all of them. Sorry if that sounds corny, but I do it every time

Among many other things I'm thankful for, my health, a wonderful family, job security, a happy home...I am most thankful for the opportunity to see my daughter this Thanksgiving, home from college, for the first time in several months.

I really, really miss her!!!!

Man, Scott, great thread. I was going to post a new thread but thought I should check to see if anybody did already & sure enough...my buddy Scott took the reigns...nicely done.

Well, I'm thankful for so much this year. It's been tough, for sure, business is down considerably from last year & the year before but it could be worse and I love my job; I'm healthy, my beautiful wife is healthy, our 2 cats are healthy; we've enjoyed a few nice trips this year, made some amazing new memories and we're trying our hand with IVF (In-Vitro Fertilization) so even though we're having difficulty trying for a kid on our own, we're blessed that we have this as an option.

We're thankful that our family & friends are healthy & happy and that all our homes are safe and have made it through the latest round of fires although our thoughts & prayers are with so many of those who lost so much this year.

I'm also thankful that we live a wonderful country in which we are free to speak our minds and do what we like when we like. I'm grateful for the troops who fight for our wonderful rights which we are able to enjoy each & every day!

I'm additionally grateful to have found CS & made some wonderful friends here. It really is one of the best things that's happened to me this year and it's because of you guys & gals. Even Pete. Thank you!!!

My family has had the toughest year of our lives this year with health problems and lost jobs. Our Family's relationship and our faith in God has never been stronger. No matter how bad things have gotten, in the end it has worked itself out. I am thankful for the friends I have that have helped us so much the last few months. I am thankful for our church who has been there more than anyone could imagine. I am so thankful that my Dad will be here for the holidays!! Something that may seem insignificant to many is being thankful for a place I can escape from lifes troubles. I love this site and the people I have met here. I have spent many intertaining hours the past months here sharing a hobby with fellow brothers and sisters of the leaf.
