Should illuminatus's User Title be changed to "Afraid Of A Girl"?
Im sure most, if not all of you are aware that Nick (illuminatus) Has a girl that he wants more than anything in the world....and is scared to do anything.
While he has an (almost) valid fear, i still think his name should be changed to remind him daily that he needs to "bite the bullet" and get it out in the open so life can continue and this stops eating at him... What ya'll think? [SIZE="1"](just messin with you nick, if this offends we'll get rid of it)[/SIZE]

Life is too short to play your hand scared. I learned that as I grew a little older. Push your chips into the middle and let the cards fly. Illum...I dont know you but I know these kinds of things. Look her in her eyes and tell her how you feel. If she rejects you...you will survive. If she doesnt you could be talking to your soul mate. When your old and gray you will always wonder if you didnt. Dont do anything over the top. Just take her aside and let her know how you feel.

Oh come on, leave the poor guy be.
 It would seem that most of us posting here are at an age where we've already been dealt our hand of unceremonious smackdowns, so we're used to it. But Nick seems a bit young to know yet that you DO manage to survive if you don't hear what you want to hear. You pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get on with your life. Nick, if you want my advice, I think you need to stay away from women - they're nothing but trouble. But if you decide to go ahead and let the young lady know how you feel and it turns out she just wants to be the sister you never had, I'm sure there will be plenty of shoulders here for you to cry on. Remember though - nothing ventured, nothing gained.
