Stats are what they are. Google analytics is a far better judge of traffic and traffic is stable and new users continue to sign up

But thanks for the chuckle
I was just tying to fairly answer the question asked. The fact that traffic is way down is not some big secret is it? Since you need to put code in the site to use Google analytics that information would need to come from you I guess. Is it significantly different? My guess is no in this case. Looking at CL CR in particular just as a user it is easier to see the dramatic drop-off the statistics show. Here with more users and things still happening it is less obvious unless you were a frequent poster. No biggie though as this is just the holding pattern period until the new process gets started/ sites get merged. I'm hoping it becomes the biggest and best of the commercial sites. There is room for both commercial and non-commercial cigar sites to exist in harmony.

Traffic is -not- way down as you suggest and Google analytics backs that up. I would say at most we experienced a 10% dip and now its more like a 5% dip. New users continue to register and quality posts involving cigars and not bickering/fluff is up substantially. That being the case I thank you for your well wishes. I am sure we are going to be just fine.

I apologize for getting involved in this. It's your business not mine. What was once home is still a habit and I'm a chatty Kathy.

It was "absolutely necessary" to close a thread because members wanted to know the slightest bit about the future website besides just the name?

Richard, it looks like for some reason the ñ was being put in the title as UTF-8, but then treated as 8bit encoded iso-8859-1 (as the html header specifies it should be). I have no idea why it was utf-8 in that one place though...
