I have ants in my bathroom! Little SOB's are coming up from under our bathtub and now they bit my kid and she has had an allergic reaction (but she's OK).

I guess they have set up a serious shop in there. Here is my biggest problem: The tub is one of those jacuzzi type that is made of really thick marble slabs and I can't get under it without a major undertaking. I did manage to find one area where I cut out the caulking and have about a 3/16" gap there and I sprayed some Raid in but I think they will come back.

Anybody know of a really good liquid ant killer that would do the trick? I don't have enough room to get some of those poison trap things in there.

I hate to pay an exterminator but I will have to if there is nothing commercially available to wipe these guys out. Help is very much appreciated!

Here on the beach we have a lot of fire ants..they suck! Ortho makes an ant killer called Orthene Fire Ant killer. It works great but the stuff is toxic. It will kill a mound of ants in an hour or so. I don't know if it would work for your application but you could give it a try. Just be cautious..it is REAL TOXIC.

One that has worked pretty good for us down in Florida is Ortho Home Defense indoor and outdoor insect killer. It is available at Lowes for about 10 a gallon and works great.
