18th Birthday Gift!

Okay, so I had some money for my birthday, and I was browsing Best Buy. I've been wanting a bigger monitor for a long time now. Sooo... I went to the monitor section and looked at them. I wander over to the Biggest monitor there, and notice how beautiful the picture was. So, about 20 minutes later, I'm a happy 18 year old walking out with a 24" HDMI Capable, 1920 x 1200 resolution, 20,000 to 1 contrast ratio, 5 ms response time, LCD monitor.

All I can say is "Epic WIN".
So, question is, what do you guys have?

That sounds like a mighty fine monitor, but we need to work on your priorities here... that money could have bought a lot of cigars.

I've got a Sony 17" flat panel, one of the first they came out with about 6 years ago and it's still doing the job!

I got a 46" samsung 1920x1080p LCD tv as a computer monitor

i have a laptop, i think is 15.4" any bigger and it would be too big to carry around.

I recently bough a HP 22207h monitor which allows me to rotate the screen from horizontal to vertical. It comes in hand for my line of work.

just a Compaq laptop here with a 17" widescreen.

LG L227WTG 22" LCD (1680 x 1050, 10,000:1, 2ms, 300 cd/m2) on my older desktop, which the graphics card barely supports. I'll be starting on a new desktop box pretty soon.

Otherwise HP 15.4" dv6500t laptop.
