I believe he is not arguing with google analytics..... merely stating that most traffic does not exactly mean largest. As he stated, Tokyo is not as big as quite a few cities in the United States, but gets more traffic. This doesn't make it LARGER, just visited more often.

Thanks. Good name, lots of penetration and time in existence to generate linkages. It just was a curious statement from a "users" perspective given the available view we have of various boards statistics. Is the translate of "unique visitors"... best place to advertise or post something that will get the widest view? Seems like it is that kind of statistic. Not really indicitve of more posts, members or threads but of folks/sites looking/linking etc. It's a cool statistic was just wondering what it meant.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I am pretty sure from a technical standpoint, Google Analytics does not record spider activity as spiders typically do not execute javascript when they are crawling a site (is it 100% accurate, obviously not).

Just a technical comment, nothing specific about this thread or question.
