he was right, it's a chinook (ch-47).
those things produce so much wash, one picked up my FULL camera case (with a 20 lb camera and two 7 lb batteries) and threw it about a foot over my head....

Talk about some balance issues! Looks as if the rear gearbox was off and one or more of the rear rotors was weighted horribly off balance. I have many companions still flying in these things; and I think they are absolutely stupid for it! Not cool when a helo can have a mid-air collision with itself!!
