I personally don't use it, but am going to check it out for 30 days for the heck of it.

iLife looks cool, but will wait for snow leopard to come out to get it instead of buying separate.

messed around with it a bit last night... actually kind of cool. If you are doing any sort of project (like a newsletter or even just writing on a regular envelope) it has some really cool features

Ummm if you have used a Mac before I don't think it will be very hard at all. I haven't gotten too in depth, but generally speaking apple software is very user friendly and any person who has even very basic computer skills should have no problems at all. It gives many templates for different tasks (newsletter, for sale sign, etc) that you can customize as you choose.

You can open Microsoft Word files in Pages and save your Pages documents as Word files

I know the overall package is loaded on Apples, it used to be $79 to get the registration key. Bought the Office Suite and there are issues with Mac and PC Word and PowerPoint versions, so I'm really leery.

Just so you're aware, iLife doesn't come with every new Apple operating system, only with every new Apple computer. So if you get Snow Leopard by itself on disc (which, Hell, may even be free), it won't include iLife. So if that's the only reason you were waiting, don't bother. But if you are going to get a whole new computer when Snow Leopard comes out, then do bother.

ahhh I forgot about that. How rude of me to assume apple would do anything for free haha. Maybe will just pick it up then as I think my macbook and imac will last until snow leopard comes out
