Nobody has any clue what this is about, not even Mexicans. It's just an excuse to drink and party, kind of like St. Patrick's Day. That's fine with me! Let's party!



We will be going to a gourmet Mexican restaurant that has a Tequila list with 200 tequilas on it.

Michele asked me this morning what Cinco de Mayo was about...told her I dunno and most Americans prolly don't either, but it's a great excuse to drink.

I love Tequila and Margaritas. I'm not too sure if there are any left in PA and FLA though, Brian and Michael might have drank them all .

Basically it is a celebration of a battle in which Mexico defeated France. It is/was mostly celebrated by Mexicans in America & just kind of spread to everyone else here.
