That is a very sweet bike. I was just looking at one at the HD dealer about 2 weeks ago. It had been prepped and waiting for it's new owner to come and get it. It was the Fire Red Pearl.

So why dont you ride it back to NJ from Texas??

I think I could handle a 12 hour ride to Florida but, 27 hours to Jersey would just be too much.

It appears that the wife is looking at a new car this summer. Every two years we get a free households goods shipment back to Germany and she has put it on her orders.

It don't matter to me much. I am at last getting the bike and can wait a few months for it I guess. When I get back in August there will be plenty of pictures and such to show off on CR. Kevin better increase the Bandwidth. While I am in Texas I will just go to the Loan Star Harley and buy Gloves/Jackets/Pants/Boots/Helmet/Glasses/etc. in anticipation of getting back to Germany and start riding.

Will still have three good months to ride when I get back.

Here is more news. We just closed on a house in Germany so, now we are here for at least another 8 years. Did I mention the U.S. Govt. is buying it.

August 23 is pick up date. Did I say I went with the Deep Colbalt Blue and Pewter. Going to the states on the 27th of June and can't wait to get back to Germany. Just got my SOFA and ready to ride the wind like CM say's.

So, we are back in town and the bike is in. I have to pick it up next week about 45 miles north of Stuttgart. But, hold on. Where is your SOFA status license. Hey wait. I have my stateside MC license but, need the SOFA. So they tell me they are not testing until Sept. 17th. So, I guess I will have to wait until then to pick up the bike. This Sucks big time. Can't pick up anything until all the paper work is done. So, I wait again.

Going to have to bring a box of Kleenex on Saturday because I am most likely to cream myself when we pull up to the dealer. Bad new's is I am
going to trailer it home put it in the garage and sleep with it until I get
the paperwork all squared away on September 11th. Then it's
