He's from Dauphin, about 20 miles downriver of me. IIRC, his mom still lives there actually.

Yeah, about halfway. I think kids from that town go to Central Dauphin High?

CD High? They had a good wrestling team. I thought that was out towards Hershey?

Honestly, I'm just not entirely sure. I know there's CD East and CD West though, now that I think about it. I think CD East is near Hershey, West is off Rt 22 in Harrisburg...again, I think that's how it is. I only played soccer in highschool, and those schools weren't in our division so I'm just not that familiar with them.

Now that you mention it........yes, CD East(I guess) was the one on the way to Hershey, from Harrisburg.
CD West may be up the river towards you?

Got more info on this Stan. Kids in Dauphin go to Central Dauphin East for school, but the folks that Michele talked to said they were pretty sure Newt didn't go to school around here. Apparently his mother (and maybe his dad?) are from around there, but moved away shortly after Newt was born. They moved back years later, after Newt was already done with schooling I guess. So, to answer your original question...he's sorta from around here
