Hong Kong is a great city; probably my favorite large city in the world. Head over to Ned Kelly's Last Stand on the Kowloon side for some "Jazz, Blues, and Booze."

Take a double decker bus to Stanley Market; make sure you sit at the top of the bus as close to the front as you can.

Eat as much exotic food as you can; they have plenty of it.

I should get to see a few things, I am there for 7 days, and my work should only take 2 days.

Anywhere I should go? Can I buy cigars there and export them? I plan on paying cash for everything I buy there.

Absolutley! Stanley Market has some great deals on some great stuff and the view just can't be beat!

Don't know if it's still there (been a few years), but the Kangaroo pub is a great place to stop in have a few cold ones. I almost got married in there once - long story and classified SQUIDS ONLY.

I love Hong Kong, but I haven't been there since it was still British rule.

You can get some great custom tailored shirts and suits if you need them for work. You can get stuff that would cost 5 times as much in New York or other major US cities for custom made. Basically, it was the same price as off the rack stuff here for custom there, and twice the quality.

My first impression of Hong Kong was that it is like New York with a lot more Chinese people. The first morning I walked out of my hotel it smelled like I walked into a Chinese restaurant.
