Trying to quit cigarettes.

Red, I think it's one of those things that no matter what you try, you won't be able to do it until your head is ready to quit it. I'm only at 51 days right now, so I'm not ready to call it success yet...but when I did quit, I was just stinking tired of the damn things.

I know what you mean about liking them; I enjoyed every cigarette I have ever smoked!!

Don't feel too bad. It's been a year for me, and oddly enough they are actually smelling good lately. A few buddy's were standing around smoking today, and I caught a whiff. Usually, packaged cigarettes always stunk like hell to me (I rolled my own cigarettes.) For some reason, they smelled REALLY inviting.

In other words, the urge doesn't go away, even after a year. Hang in there, get back on, and remember you are the only person standing between success and failure on this. Have you rewarded yourself lately?
