Mini-herf, PA/NC challenge disc, kicked back fun casual play, whatever, abso-damn-lutely. Get a notion of when and let me know and we'll work it out. I'm on call every other weekend but we'll figure it out. Yup, yup, yup.......... Cool
I'm trying to convince Bobby that we should go down to NC and play a round or two, I play a good bit...I usually try to get out a couple time a week, but sometimes not at all....Bobby is much better than I am but it is still fun.

Hooooooeeeeeeeeee, I'm a tired youngun is. Just got in from a tournament over in West Jefferson, NC. Very mountainous terrain, long course, two rounds blue Pro tees, one round white am tees. Poor first round from the blues made worse by our scorer's inability to add and my equal inability to catch the mistake resulting in a two stroke penalty. Ahh well, not his fault. Gots to always double check the card. Good second round from the whites. Decent third round today from the blues. Lots of fun. Good folks. I'm going to finish this beer and hit the sack.

Hat, I already replied a similar message to this pic you posted on the "what are you smoking in July" thread, but I thought this would be a more appropriate thread.....How do you like your shark? I have a white one and it is by far my most reliable mid-range. How often do you usually go? (I know you said this was the first time you went this summer)

Are you serious? lol....no not at all...i suppose you could hire someone.....but no caddies or carts or usually greens fees. Disc Golfing is usually free and you "hike"/walk through the woods or an open field (depending on the course)

It is a growing sport with free courses all over the country.....You should try it a basic set of disc (one putter one mid-range and one driver) usually costs about $25

And unlike ball golf, with a little imagination and very few bucks you can build your own course.

I love my Shark. If i had just one disk to use on an entire course it would be just that one. I used to go alot but have been too busy to travel to a decent course..... BUT the other day my wife and I went down to the local park and there was a kick ass 24 hole course... I couldnt believe it was there and with walking distance, and i bever even knew about it. I will probably be going every other day at least now.

I throw almost exclusively 150 class plastic now. It's a lot easier on my shoulder. With that in mind I also prefer understable molds like Sidewinders and the new Monarch. Just got the Monarch last week and it fit my game so well I used it as my primary distance driver at the tournament I played last weekend. Super disc for newbies, women or old farts. If I want something more stable but still long I use my old trusty Orion LF in 150g.

Mid ranges I've gravitated toward Rocs since they have started to become available in Star and Champion plastic at 150g. Also use Cro's a lot and occasionally Cobras. My bread and butter upshot disc though is a CE Leopard at 153g which I generally flick.

When I first started playing golf I threw tommies, flicks, thumbers and backhand for power shots, but my joints just won't handle the stress any more. I still use all those shots for touch but only the back hand for drives.

Now tell the truth, is it the greatest freaking game or what???

If you are buying online, discgolfcenter.com has great prices, free shipping usps and real time inventory so you know exactly what color, plastic and weight you are getting when you make the order.
