I am a PC guy, I will not say I wont get a MAC, but I do not see it in my future. I have 2 computers at home running Vista with no problems, my laptop I tried to run Vista, but the update to it did not play well with my hardware so I went back to XP.

All in all XP nad Vista are a plus for me.

Here's my next PC purchase (probably next summer), the Asus Eee 1002HA laptop:

http://eeepc.asus.com/global/product1002ha.html?n=0

My best friend has one of the original models when they first came out, and he loves it. This one is 3 pounds and can go 5 hours on a single battery charge (other models can go up to 8 hours). The hard drive is flash memory (160 GB worth of it) like in USB drives - more robust toward being dropped, and the Linux OS boots up in 20 seconds! WLAN, Bluetooth, 1.3 MP web cam... this thing amazes me!

I have my mega PC desktop, the 17" laptop that's basically a portable desktop but weighs 7-8 pounds, so I figure it's time to go light-weight.

the 5 Hour claim is under some scrutiny. But I agree, they rock. Much more bang for the buck compared to the similar HP and Dell minis.
