Got my kids so we have a 15 pound bird we will make, and then watch football, and I forsee a cigar or two.

My daughter and Son-in-Law are driving down from Maine as I type this. We have a 18 pounder that will go into the oven in the morning with all the trimmings.

She wants to go shopping on BLACK FRIDAY ! ! !

Oh well...so much for a perfect weekend...

Normally I would go home and help my pa fry the turkey, but I have to stick around here and babysit some kilns I'm firing, so I picked up a cornish hen today to make my own personal thanksgiving meal.

Sitting in the residence hall, being the RA on duty. Tons of fun, at least I get paid though.

Wife and I have a 12 pounder I'm gonna cook up tomorrow. Hoping to sneak out for a stogies - we'll see.

I will be cooking food, eating food, watching football, maybe sneak on the board for a second or two, smoking cigars and a pipe or two.

Just some good ol family time. Luckily we don't have to cook this year. My sis is hosting for my side of the fam and then my wife's sister is covering her side. Just a full belly, some football, and I foresee a Camacho Triple Maddy or RP Edge Maddy being dessert.

I'm at work til 4pm myself, which blows. On the plus side, I pick up my boy from my ex on the way home and dinner should be ready when we get there. No cigars today most likely (they frown on me lighting them at my desk for some strange reason) but I did have a tasty RP Edge Sumatra last night.

Brother in law in from Hot 'Lanta. Cooking a non traditional meal - braised rabbit with spicy pumpkin soup and yeast rolls. Ahhhhh. Also will most likely burn up a few rounds through Glen's various weapons and mine as well as firing up a stogie or three.
