Great Turkey Day for All?

Evening my brothers!

Wanted to touch base and see how everyone's turkey day went.

This was the first year my wife and I spend the holiday alone. Since we've been together we've always gotten together with family.

We had a great turkey complete with stuffing and all the "normal" sides. We had a pumpkin pie I made from scratch for dessert (you read that right). Tons of leftovers. The twins were awake and able to sit with us while we ate even if they couldn't have any. It was just a great day all around........

Gonna step out for a cigar a bit later this evening.....

Worked today which sucked but then I picked up my boy & we came home to Turkey Dinner waiting for us. Michele did a great job, I'm stuffed now and waiting for the Eagles game to come on. No smokes today, but tomorrow I'll have a few after work I'm sure. Happy Thanksgiving guys!

smoked a Rocky Patel Cuban Blend Maduro, then went out for dinner with the family, no cooking or clean-up for us. Still feel pretty damn stuffed.

I'm still at work. One of the guys went out and picked up Chinese food for the two of us who have to be here; that was a nice gesture.

I had a Punch Rare Corojo on my way to work today. I will have another nice smoke when I get home; Maybe a Fuente Sun Grown or a Perdomo Corojo.

Didnt get to smoke any while watching the games, but the food was great!

Went to both sides of the family, and loaded up on deserts. I was pretty much stuffed the whole day.

But all in all, it was a great day. And its nice that i dont have to go to to work tomorrow. Epic win on that.

I got to spend the day with the wife's family. There were, in total, 48 of us packed into her Aunt's tiny house. You read that right. 48. It was about as pleasant as it sounds.

I like her family and all, but sheesh. Its enough to induce claustrophobia.

Plus, it was snowing and cold all day so no opportunity to light up!

Heh spent Thanksgiving in bed! Having some health issues so couldn't partake in the festivities! Well hopefully all will be resolved by Christmas, hopefully will know more next week, might be some surgery in my near future. Hope all here had a great Thansgiving though!

It was a good day. We started at 4:50am cooking for my wife's family. Roasted turkey, smoked ham, stuffing, green beans, and pumpkin ice cream. Later that day I fired up a Cuba Aliados and then a Cienfuegos by Rolando Reyes Sr. I liked them both but the Cienfuegos were really nice.

I had a pretty good Thanksgiving. I made a cranberry glazed turkey with cranberry stuffing, mashed potatoes w/gravy (made from scratch by me), baked mac & cheese, cream corn, sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, and of course cranberry sauce. Dessert was pumpkin pie, mince meat pie, and banana pudding.
I will be eating Thanksgiving food for about a week .

I smoked a pipe of Christmas Cheer 2006 during breaks from cooking and after dinner had a Graycliff 1666.
The only thing that could have made it better was not having to work on Friday, but what can you do?
