Im pretty sure I did, as all the charges are "pending" on the phone with my bank now.

They are going to investigate the charges and hopefully I get my account credited back within the next 5-7 business days.

I hope it all gets sorted out Nick.

I find it kind of funny that my bank called me four or five times one day about a year ago asking me about suspicious purchases, but it turns out that I actually made them and they were OK with it. These were stupid purcahses in the town where I live - gasoline, Wal-Mart, grocery store, etc.

The funny thing is that for the entire week we were traveling to Florida to the Ybor herf about two weeks ago, making purchases all over the east coast since we drove down there, not a single call to me from my bank. I feel so unloved now. LOL

Man that sucks brother. It'll get worked out. Most banks don't hold you liable for more than $50.00 anyway nowadays. Some banks flag spending patterns like in JT's circumstance.

Last year I went from San Antonio to S. Padre Island and then to Rockport in one day and purchased fuel in each city. Exxon was on the horn right away checking out what was going on. They don't want to be left holding the bag on that.

Good reminder, but very sorry it happened to you. I had some little bastards get my CC number last year and charged up a few small items.

Everybody check their accounts often.....

My folks just had the same thing happen. Somebody used their number to take small cash advances several times a day for about two weeks before the cc company noticed. About $15,000 all total!

Assholes.

I do that as well. I constantly check my bank and credit card accounts (at least 4 times a week).
