Remember that video Matt posted of him running around the yard with the Washing Machine on his back. What a brut he was. What a great kid. Maybe, just maybe the Lord wanted him now. I don't know. Any way, may the Lord keep Matt in his hands. Very sad day.

Wow!

Unbelievable. I am speechless. I remember his video carrying like 8 45# plates.

RIP Matt.

That sucks.
I didn't really know him as he didn't post too much since I've been here. My condolences to those who knew him better.

A terrible loss. I will feel it deeply for a long time.

Thank you for calling last night Michael. Not a call I wanted to get, but one I appreciate none the less. As you, I miss his cheerful young voice already.

I did not know Matt. But like others have already said, there's a connection here between the BOTL. I'm a religious guy and I hope no one takes offense. May our good and loving God comfort and watch over Matt's family and friends in this very difficult time. He works in mysterious ways that we can't understand. By what you have all been saying he's truly in a better place know.

Somehow didn't see this last night...I'm so sorry. I barely knew him as he was getting towards inactive when I joined. I feel that I missed out on knowing a great guy. I will fire up one of my best tonight when I get home.

When I got this on my phone last nite, I was so upset, I to wanted to reply to your message, but didn't know what to say.

I am so bummed out right now.

Great kid and BOTL, with such a bright future before him.

The world lost a GOOD ONE yesterday, and we need all the good ones we can get now.

We miss you Matt !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did not know Matt very well met him once and he lives in my back yard.

Yesterday morning while getting ready for work they showed the wreck on the news, it was bad and there was one dead. I was sad.

On my way to work my train goes by that bridge and they were working on taking out the body.

I have driven over that bridge several times over the years and it has popped into my head how easy someone could crossover and hit me head on.

I am very sad about this and god bless his family.

Unbelievable, Only got to see a few posts of his but way too young... wayyyyyyyyy too young. He seems well liked around the senior members of the board, wish I got the chance to know him better. My condolences.

I unfortunately did not know Matt but as others have said he seemed like a man that touched so many lives.

I am truly sorry for everyone's loss and pray for his family and friends. Being pretty young myself (24) I feel that he was taken too soon.

I lit up my best tonight as well. My condolences to all.

As I read all of this I can't help but think of a friend of mine who passed a few years back. His name was Tyler and was an amazing person. He had made a huge positive impact on so many people thru the missions he went on for his church.

He was living in Alabama at the time working as a youth pastor. He was driving to the airport on Christmas Eve to fly home and was killed by a drunk driver. He was only 19 at the time.

Matt was a blessing to so many and truly an angel on Earth who lifted so many spirits. RIP Matt.
