I'm really late in getting to this thread, but, I wanted to make sure I had time to offer the right thoughts.

First off, I didn't know Matt but my heart goes out to his family and mostly to the fellows here that did. I'm sure he was a great BOTL and I can tell that his impact was deeply felt here. I've lost people to car accidents and this has really touched me and brought back some of the emotions from that experience, and also reminded me how alot of the emotional stress and personal reflection helped make me a better person. They say everything happens for a reason, so Cycle, no matter how hard it is to deal with losing someone, always allow that person to live on through their influence on you. If that can make you a better person then the memory will always be honorable.

The way you all have shown the utmost respect and admiration for a fellow BOTL that many didn't even know all that well is true testament to the comraderie that exists here. I'm really proud to be a small part of it and truly thankful that you've allowed me in and always been accepting and supportive. Even though I've only met one of you in person, I wouldn't hesitate to call everyone of you my friend.

Peace to Matt in the afterlife and good thoughts out to all the other brothers out there.
