I Bought My Brother A Car
My older brother has been going through some hard times and his truck had been repossessed for many non payments. The hospital where I work is going to buy back from me, all of my vacation time (over 240 hours worth) and I am doing pretty well for myself financially. Rather than put this money towards my credit card, I decided to get him a car. After a short search, it was obvious that there is a lot of junk out there. Currently, I drive an '83 Benz diesel and it is arguably the best money I have ever spent.


Here is my car when I bought it:





Here it is after a lot of TLC; yes I am a car nut!!!:






After doing some searching, I ended up buying my brother an '84 Benz. I found a very nice model on Ebay and snatched it up for $3,500.








Since I know these cars inside and out, I am able to help him with any mechanical issues that may arise. This came in handy as the car wouldn't turn off when he brought it home. He had it fixed a few hours later.
