In Wales Santa is called Sion Corn which translates as "Chimney John"....
In France and Canada, Pere Noel...
In Brazil and Peru, Papai Noel....
In Poland, "Gwiazdor" ("star man") -- for the North Star....
In Jultomten or Tomten, Sweden, Jultomten visits in the evening before Christmas day, pulling a big bag of julklappar (Christmas presents) in the deep snow....
In Russia, Grandfather Frost or Ded Moroz (didn't he play w/ Garcia?)....
Karácsony Apó, in Hungarian.....

Actually, there's a long ass list at this link -
http://christmas.whipnet.net/santa/santa.name.html

Oh, in east LA he's known as Pancho Claus and in Houston I think they just call him Dude.

Merry Christmas, or as the locals say Fleas Na-david.
