Don't even get me started about fark wads that treat someone else's property (cars for example) like it's their job to destroy it. My blood pressure will hit the roof! I've had more jerkoffs hit my old car than years I owned it. My current car was hit once that I know of, with numerous parking lot door banging off door marks.

The only reason why some people are alive is because it's against the law to kill them... I have a t-shirt that says that too, LOL.

I want to join the I Hate People Club too. Go out this morning and find this. Looks like someone kicked my lens or hit it with something. I have to replace the whole unit. Some people really do suck. It happens in Germany too. WTF.

JT, now that broke me up. Thanks for the smile.

Every work day I see people who's only reason for living is to use, use food, use air, use water, etc. and contribute nothing except producing more people who's only purpose is to use things. It is extremely dfficult to look for the best in people when so many abuse the description "Human", but try, we have a whole Forum of good ones. They are out there.

Man, that sucks Mark Karma's a bitch though, they'll get theirs. I'm with JT...the only reason a lot of people are still alive is cuz it's illegal to rectify the problem, and usually too much work

I bet that's what the guy who hit the car was saying too.

I had a situation about 10-12 years ago where I was going to lunch in a crowded shopping plaza that had a Costco in it. Parking was limited and time was short so I took a space that was available without much question. As it turned out, there was a Van parked diagonal to my left that had a Costco type flatbed trolly under the front of it as if the van drove up onto it. It was pointed in the direction of my space so I parked further out as to not hit it. I'm talking 2 feet away with the ass end of my truck sticking out.

Long story short, I come out from lunch with two big key marks down each door and a note on the windshield that said "Thank for scraping my car". Now, the individual could have noticed not a mark on my truck and known that I had nothing to do with it....but judging from their communication skills they obviously didn't. I was pissed and of course there were no cameras and I never saw that van again so no plate #s.

Luckily I had a friend that worked at a body shop and we managed to do a bangup job of painting and buffing so it wasn't that noticeable. But what I took away from it is that I would never leave someone in the same position as I was left. I also took from it that I would never jump to conclusions as to who did what if I didn't witness it myself.

I ended up seeing justice later when a neighbor saw a guy hit the same truck on the street 4 years later and took the license plate number as he rode off. That guy had his day in court. For me, lesson learned and justice paid.

On campus the commuter lot is about 3800 parking spaces, but it's available for students, faculty, staff, and the OPP workers (Office of Physical Plant, a.k.a. grounds keepers, janitors, etc.). Last year I was spending all day and night in that lot as I worked a ton of hours in my lab so by the time I would get to the parking lot around dusk it was about 95% empty.

TONS of available parking spaces!!

Well, the OPP workers have these full sized Chevy vans that they use to haul all their tools and equipment and they park them in the lot overnight so they are there in the morning when they arrive. So for about a week straight I would come to my car in the evening and I'd find two of these huge vans parked on both sides so close to my car (which at that time was a big old two door Cutlass with doors that were about 5 feet long) that I couldn't open the doors more than about 8-10 inches. Good thing I'm skinny and could barely squeak into the car.

Well, after about the fourth day of that BS, I got fed up. I figured that leaving a note on both vans was worthless as it had been happening day after day and I never parked in the same place twice... so I knew full well that those ass wipes were doing it on purpose.

I guess eight flat van tires taught them a lesson, it never happened again.

I completely agree with this.

WTF do we think that we humans (as a species) are so damn special? How do we know that nudibranchs or nautilus aren't TRULY UNIQUE in the universe and that we humans are just some damn common "invasive species"?

Hate people? Yes, I hate people too. I have a 2000 Jeep Cherokee that I'm quite fond of. Metallic green, leather interior, 4.0 liter in-line six. Lovingly washed and waxed, nearly mint condition. 110,000 trouble-free miles and running strong. Some A-hole smacks the passenger side door leaving a big dent and just drives away. I was nearly suicidal. Now I'm driving around with a big dent in my door because I can't afford the deductible.

When I retire, it will be to the Nicolet National Forest in NE Wisconsin, to have as little contact with the outside world as possible.
