I came out to my car after being inside a store today for an hour and someone had hit the front of my truck, busted the front skirting, and scratched the chrome bumper. No one stuck around, left a note or came inside. No witness, so my ded is $500 and if I want to fix this myself I have to take it all apart.

I can totally sympasize with you bro...Same shit happened to me a month ago at walmart...Some douche bag hit my car on the driver side front fender while i was in the store...There was no light where i was parked and i did not even notice till the next day..Some how the paint did not get scratched but the dent will have to be fix at my cost.. What a hell of a way to start the new year. I've been lucky so far (knock on wood)...but I've seen @ssholes hit cars in the parking lots and drive off. Thankfully I've got a good track record (2 for 2) of getting plate info and leaving it for the person who's car was struck.

Yeah no security camera, I reported it to my insurance so I will make them cut me a check minus my ded amount.

If I saw people do it I would turn them in a heart beat, If I would hit someone I would find them in the store. I live up to my mistakes.

Like Klaatu says... "I am here to save Earth." He is saving Earth from the Human race. Why? Because we are a bunch of self-centered, disgusting beings. We don't care about how we effect those around us.

I will never understand how some people act......

No conscious, no cares. This is why we are in SO much trouble as a society. All we care about is keeping/putting money in our own pockets, and **** everyone else. Do I even need to go through the laundry list of examples???

I am so sick of people at this point. And I feel disgusting in the fact that ALL I care about is my family. I want to help others and do the right thing, but I so rarely hear stories of people doing the “right thing” that it makes me care less and less about doing the “right thing” myself.

I love this network of people because of guys like Cycle. It does prove there are very good people in this world. People who care about others. Give gifts just to be nice. TRUST others without a contract.

But stories like this really get me fired up. We make mistakes. Own up to them, pay the consequence, and move on. In the long run, it will make you a better person.

Not that it will make you feel any better, but my brother (cop in VA) pulled over a vehicle because the passenger had an infant on her lap. When he got to the vehicle, the child was no longer on her lap, and both the driver and passenger refused to own up. Not only did they continue to lie through their teeth (or tooth, this is Virginia) in front of three of their kids, but promised to have their kids tell the judge when it goes to court!!

Well the Insurance guy cut me a check today for $270 so I found some after market parts for about $320 and 2 hours of my labor to fix this thing, but I am going to wait until spring.
