Yup, my daughter is 24, married and teaching school but I still remember very fondly sitting up late at night with her across one arm in front of the wood stove while I read her "exciting" excerpts from Ettinger's "Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine". At least it would occasionally elicit a burp from her. Man those were such special times. Again, congrats JJ.

i did with my daughter.... that lasted for about a week... there was so much crap we had to go through to get pregnant the first time... switch to boxers, count the days of her cycle, take her temperature, after we were done we had to elevate her pelvis for like 1/2 hour so my seed would go where it needed,

it got to be a job after a while... so this time around we both agreed that we wouldnt prevent it (condoms, birthcontrol) we would just wait til it happened and not put ourselves through the heart ache. but after a year and a half you start to wonder about yourself... you see parents yanking there kids around in walmart, or being mean or ungrateful for thje gift they have...because you feel like less of a man when you cant do what you feel like you should be able to do.

its a funny feeling. i used to hate hearing people dread pregnancy, or my cousin who had an abortion... its like... why is it they can do it and throw it away,...when thats all we want and cant.

anyways, those feeling are gone now!!! im just hoping for a healthy pregnancy and a smooth transition with my little girl. she's not a brat, but you can tell she's an only child.

thanks for all the support guys....it means alot!

Funny how that works huh? People who are responsible and want kids usually have trouble having them yet you see people on Maury Povich's show who doesn't know who their baby daddy is and dont have a job.

I dont want kids because I dont trust myself being responsible for another human life that is solely dependant on me.. or is it bc i dont want to get married and dont want to have to pay child support....

i dont even know you personally but i can tel you are a good person... i remember holding my daughterr the first time and thinking this is it. this is why im here. but i had doubts and worries leading up to the birth. responsibility is the easy part... anybody that is capable of loving somebody more than themself, is capable of being an excellent parent
