How pissed am I???
Most of these war protesters are ****ing idiots! Actually, they're worse than idiots... they're worthless and if most people thought they were stupid and missguided in the first place, they are now making their entire cause look that much more foolish.
From fox news: "Protesters stalled firefighters trying to respond to emergencies." "Protesters blocked intersections, scuffled with police, broke windows and heaved newspaper racks and debris into streets. Some hurled rocks at commuter trains..." "Portland, Ore., protesters smashed three windows at a McDonald's restaurant, set a flag on fire and sprayed graffiti on a sign at a Shell gas station. More than 135 people were arrested after police used pepper spray and explosives. A police spokesman said one cop was injured and received 10 stitches after a flying object hit him during a confrontation." "'I like the idea of shutting down commerce and the city to counteract Bush's economic motives for this war,' said Eric Anholt, 19, of Portland." "Protesters were planning to infiltrate the coastal property of Vandenberg Air Force Base near Santa Barbara on Saturday. Officials at the base said they will 'shoot to kill.'" I particularly like that last one and hope some IDIOT "peace" mongers try to get onto the airbase to vanalise it and get gunned down. AAAAHHHH.... I'm pissed. ![]()

That makes sense to me! We have tons of idiots protesting war. So what do they do? They risk the lives of others to express their ignorant, worthless views. I think these folks should be shipped out to the Middle East. Then they can try to convince all terrorists to surrender and stop killing people.

I 100% agree!
I have recently realized that the best thing to do is ignore them and they will all go away. Once the war settles down these fools will go home and put their backpacks, fannypacks, and protest signs back in the closet until the next "crisis". (Hopefully some of them will shave, get a haircut and eventually a JOB!! - and Im not just talking about the men...)) It is sad b/c most of them don't even know what they are protesting against. All they can do is yell "ITS WRONG, blah blah blah" without citing any real reasons why. The fact of the matter is that there are people out there that are going to protest anything and everything. They could clone Hitler and he could start up the Nazi party again, and if the U.S. went to fight him there would STILL be protesters in the streets. The fact is that most americans support the war. These fools are just a small percentage of the population, therefore they have to scream the loudest to be heard. I also would not be shocked if some of them were being paid by certain groups to protest......jusy my opinion. ps - F*CK FRANCE |

i agree with both of you...
but my point wasn't that i have a problem with people protesting the war. like you said... there's always going to be FOOLS out there who don't even have a clue why they are protesting. my point was how angry it makes me that these idiots who "want peace" are becoming violant! too bad they'll all just get a slap on the wrist. would be nice if they could spend a little time in the pen with bubba. then they would know what peace is.... a piece of ass that is. LOL

They have the right to protest what they view as wrong, however right or wrong their beliefs may be. Otherwise we'd be no better off than the people of Iraq under Hussain. I have to agree that the methods of protest are getting pretty moronic.
I think thatBush jumped the gun on the invasion, but now, what the Hell, we're there. The best thing we can do now, in my opinion, is support the troops that are there facing the fire. I think Bush has a global agenda that I may not agree with, but Hussain, his sons, and regime were so corrupt and evil toward the citizenry of Iraq that I can't think of a better group to try out some new bombs on. Hopefully the outcome will be a more democratic Iraq where the common citizen can live without daily fear of their government. I think that if we don't find either weapons of mass destruction or large chemical weaponry that we will all have egg on our faces and face years of embarassment in the world community. Either way let's hope it's over quickly and with a minimum of American lives lost. OK I'm stepping off the soapbox now. ![]()

These socialist ingrates do in fact have the right to protest. However, that is a very weak, if not pathetic, argument for them to make the choice to do what they are doing and I don't think anyone here or anywhere else says that they are breaking any laws (until they get violent or obstruct justice).
On the subject of "legality", this country also protects their rights to worship Satan, join a cult, become neo-nazis, form a minority hate group, desecrate the US flag, or become a grand wizard of the KKK. Why should that somehow cause me to not despise what they do? It's not a question of legality it's a question of integrity. And they simply show that they have none. I can't help but mention that they also have the right the shut the hell up.

Here's an extreme case for ya. Last nights 11:00 News had a story covering two events in Ft Myers, one was a pro-war (for lack of a better term) rally to show support of our troops in Iraq, the other was an anti-war rally screaming anti-Bush slogans and preaching peace. The pro-war rally was peaceful and positive, while there was video footage of two peace protesters who had gotten into a fight and one was viciously kicking the other one while he was prone on the asphalt! Maybe it's just my attitude, but rather than allow the situation to have the power to piss me off, I saw it as comic irony and had a good laugh.

I think its great that these fellows get pissed off at this. I think I would be correct in saying everyone on this board does not like war, but most of us understand that, after 12 years of negotiating and getting no where, it is necessary to start bringing order to the most volitile and dangerous area of the world. By freeing these people, something they DO want, and setting up a democratic system of government, we are creating an arab ally, which is not only good for us, but also good for relations between israel and the arab world. Back to the situation that started this post.....I think its great that these guys are pissed at these protesters who are protesting the election. It shows some caring and some interest in country and freedom that is necessary for this country's survival. Sure, they can't do a damn thing about it. Nothing will be changed by their posts or anger or my post here. However, that feeling in your gut when you see this proves that you are alive and have some thoughts. Without thoughts and the ability to exchange them, we are a useless nation of apathetic morons. The only thing worse than that is Hollywood.
With that said, despite the fact that I believe freedom of speech and the ability to protest are essential and I cherish our freedom to participate in these things, I still cast my vote for air strikes on peace strikes....especially when a bunch of basketweaving majors interrupt my biothermodynamics class to explain to me that "my going to class supports an unjust war which is only about George Bush taking over Iraq and putting it in his daughter's name on the deed so that he can get tax benefits for a female-owned nation while also owning 1/3 of the worlds oil. Then hes going to use the oil to pollute the world and power his rocket ship to his other planet...which he purchased with dirty, dirty oil money." --or some BS like that, I wasnt paying close attention ![]() |

You can all thank the servicemen and women, who, over the years have given the best years of their lives, and in a lot of cases their lives, for the freedom that we enjoy as Americans. Where else would you find a great difference of opinion on how things could be done, spoken in a public forum such as this. Be thankful, no matter what your views are. You can call people names and make it sound as if your own point of view is the only one that counts, but remember. We are all Americans. Don't take our rights for granted.

One of the war stories today has been the idiot that tried to frag all his officers by tossing grenades into their tents. Now that pisses me off!

I think they should try him right there, and if he is found guilty a firing squad would be appropriate.
