My 200th post and some morning musings...

Well, it's hard to believe, but I've been on the board a couple of weeks and have made it to 200 posts. Nothing to pat my back about, but still interesting to me. Considering that I had previously been enamored with another cigar board and it took me a couple of months to do the same. I guess that I have found a home here and a place that most completely fits my style. Stogie, you have created an interesting place to exchange ideas on all things cigar and all the while made it a place that is welcoming to new folks and to those with greater experience and differing ideas. It's hard to do, I know, but so far this place is shaping up to be absolutely TOP NOTCH! Congrats on that! Congrats to all of you here on Cigar Live as well - you are making this place one that others will flock to and cherish as much as the rest of us. Very cool stuff indeed!

Well, I'm sitting here out in my car-port having my morning cup of "Captain America" and an H. Upmann Signature CT "Magmum" and reflecting on the weekend and life in general. It's 80 some-odd degrees here in Atlanta and wonderfully sunny! The birds are singing and flowers are blooming. I really cherish this time of year and the wonder it brings. So much promise for the year ahead. Yesterday was wonderful, no traveling except to go to the Atlanta Aquarium and finally use our season passes. I love that place - getting to watch "Fish TV" as my fiance calls it, was wonderful. Met up with a friend of ours that was in town for a conference and we made a day of it. Later on we went to Fire of Brazil for a "meat fest" and that was awesome. Seems stupid, but it was my first time to one of these Brazilian Churrascarias. I highly recommend going to one of them if you like meat! Fun stuff.

Thoughts on our new house and impending move to North Carolina as well as marriage on the horizon for later this year are coming into view. It's gonna be a bittersweet thing to leave what has been my family for the 8 years I have been here in GA, but I know that a new door in my life is opening up. So, I've decided to let the winds take me where they may and go with the flow. I am lucky as hell to have all the things that I do, including a beautiful girl who is behind me all the way, my incredible family and such a wonderful group of friends that make my life happy and complete! And now with the amazing people I have met with my participation in the cigar community, I can truly say that I have never met a stranger when smoking cigars!

Thanks to all you Brothers and Sisters of the leaf here on the Cigar Live, I look forward to growing with you all and hopefully getting to herf with some of you in person in the coming year.
