good morning , it is Sunday , 14 OCT. 07 , it is a chilly foggy morning here in da Burgh , we went from a record high of 91 last week to a record low for the high temp of the day just 3 days later when all we managed was 49 for a high , just like always here in da Burgh if you dont like the weather wait a few minutes & see if you like that, we run the a/c during the day & the furnace at night , , Go figure !
well the repoert will be short & sweet this morning, as I have to be in New Castle today for a POD cast ( check it out on www.burghhefers.com ) go to the link for POD casts, there are over 40 on line right now ( I think ) , well back to the new from da burgh, last night at 24 AM I got a call from the 911 center , the alarm at the shop went off the police were checking all the doors in town & when they checked the back door of the shop it opened & set off the alarm, well I dont have to tell you what a LOUD noise the alarm makes & it woke up the entire area , well I got the call & had to get out of a nice warm bed get dressed & go in to reset the alarm, ( not a happy camper ) well when I get there the answeing machine is blinking so I turn off the alarm, & listen tp the message, it is the alarm company calling the shop to see what the trouble was, they didnt call me at home but they called the shop, who would answer had it been a breakin , so I called the alrm company & they said they called the police & then the police called me, I asked why they called the shop & they told me it was the procedure, well I need to talk to some one about changing that, call the shop fine BUT also call ME ! , so I got home at 3:35 & by the time I was able to fall back asleep it was after 4 well I didnt get up at 6 for my morning walk Don carlos #3 & my pot of kona , I am just tired & want to go back to bed , BUT I need a shower & need to get going so I will end it right here & hope that I can elaberate more next week , but right now I got to go ! Good Morning from the desk of mansonicman in the SanFrancisco Bay Area, it is a misty rainy foggy morning at 54 degrees and quit windy, no sun in sight at this point. I just brewed a piping hot pot of Folgers breakfast blend and poured myself a cup. Looking in my humidor i pulled out a Gurhka Napolese Warrior and decided that was the one. Lots of smoke with a very pleasent aroma. Have a few birds outside my window at the feeder chirping and doing what birds do. Last night was eventfull at work but that is how it is in the Tenderloin area in SanFrancisco. A buddy of mine who is in lawenforcement came by the job and we played a nice game of chess and both enjoyed MonteCristo Edmundo Cubano. Passed some time talking about what goes on at work and i won the chess game as usual. Anyway back to this morning. My wife is sleeping in this morning which allows me some me time while i de-escalate and enjoy my cigar. We are just starting our winter here in The Bay Area so i am preparing for that. Nothing exciting to mention,so on that note i will close this post and enjoy my cigar and coffee.

Good morning to all you cigar smokers & readers of the Sunday Morning news from the dining room table , it has been a fantastic week here in da burgh , the weather has just been absoulatly FINE, highs in the 70's & lows in the mid 50's the trees are starting to turn from Greeen to red, gold orange & yellow the hill sides are a blaze of color , it is just a fantastic drive to work in the morning, hahaha, I say work, but it is a labor of love , where else do you get paid to sit , listen to Jazz , smoke fine cigars sip coffee & a weee dram of single malt scotch & get paid to do it , dammmmmm what a country !!, & speaking of what a Counrty , the congress DI NOT over ride the Veto by GW on the schip program Good for GW, good for the CIGAR industry, , lets face it the @$$ hats in DC have no idea what it is like in the real world it is time to clean house & vote out all the incumbants , do your 2 term s & get out NO pention for elected positions, get a JOB you blood suckers , Dammmm I hate to get political but they just frost my pumpkin , imagine wanting to raise 35 BILLION in additional revenue from an industry that has 2.2 billion in sales a year , I was never a math major but thats seams to me that it is WAY out of wack even for my 9 year old grandson he understands that you cant get almost 16 time the annual sales in taxes from an industry that will have sales fall into the PIT with the added taxes & the 2.2 billion in sales will drop to under 1 billion & thats even less money to tax even at the higher rate they are wanting to impose , well its all way beyond me what they are thinking, JFK had the right idea he was way ahead of Ronnie when it came to Trickle down economics , LOER the tax rate across the board, let the people keep more of there hard earned money & they will in turn save a little more & create new jobs by expanding the business & investments they all ready have , that creates more jobs & more people working pay more taxes & dont Suck from the public tit & collect wellfair , they have jobs & instill the work ethic in there children so that they dont grow up looking for a hand out from uncle sugar , dammmm thats enough from the soap box this morning on to the subject at hand, Cigars food & the finer things in life , I have 2 t bones defrosting for later today , the grill will get hot about 4 pm today , no marinade, just a little salt & pepper & on the grill, plain & simple, kind of like me hahahaha , it is just way to nice out NOT to fire up the grill, a baked spud & some salad , I am a happy camper !
breakfast this morning was a simple egg bacon cheese tomato on a toastd muffin along with a pot of kona which I am finishing up right now I have a peaberry to grind & brew next
sales at the shop have been going well, we had our first year open & will be having a birthday bash soon , but this comming WED. the 24th we are having a FATBOT party, all the 60+ ring size cigars will be featured & some 54,56 & 58's will also be included , but we have a large number of different facings of the popular new size 6 x 60, my self I dont like the big guns , I smoke a few Diamond crowns & they are 54 ' or 56s & & I just dont like that big of a cigar , Now I understand why the boss complains about her jaw hurting hahahahahaha , yea I wish hahahaha
I had to get 2 now tires on my car last week & since then I have had to get air almost every day, it is going back Monday morning for a check on the wheel, dammm thing might be cracked or chipped , I hate the dammmmmmm wheels , they look great , but they just dont hold up like th e old steel ones with a hub cap, might not look as good , but the replacement cost is about 1/10th 15 bucks at the junk yard vs 150 at the junk yard , ahhh I guess I have moved the point of reference to include looking good vs function , & they DO look GOOD !

ONE more Soccor game to go to next Saturday & that will be it ! the grandson will be 10 in Jan 08 & will be to old to play next spring season & the over 10 kids dont play on Saturday mornings , so I can sleep in next season , there is no score board at any of the games , they just want the kids to feel good about playing on a team , BS the kids are aware of the score & who is winning , I might not not care but the players sure do !

Yesterday was the fall fest in Monaca the main street was bloced off &* the crafters & vendors set up booths & tents selling all the fall junk, like apple butter & apple & pumpkin pies , there was a few plases selling meat ball sandwiches & pizza by the slice what that has to do with fall is way beyond me , but it was good hahahaha , there were 2 radio station broadcasting live fromm the fest 88.3 FM a low power FM station set up just for the fest, sounded great all over town crisp & clear but not a lot of range I was about 3 miles out of town when I started to loose signal in the car , not bad for the antena being between to buildings in the center of town, had it been up on the hill or even on a roof it might have been a lot better , the other station was my old place of employment the TWIN towers of AM radio in the Beaver County are a , 1460 WMBA & 1230 WBVP , to seperate station at oppisited ends of the county with the same programming on both stations execpt for high school foot ball & basket ball when they each do a seperate game , a few years ago the only thing they did the same was the news , both stations had seperate programming , but consoladatrion & saving $$$$$ are the way of business now & the 2 small towns lost there idenity with out there own radio station s.

we had a large gust of wind blow through here some time yeasterday as all the lawn furniture on the back deck was blown to the railing & the wind chimes were scattered all over the deck, looks like its time for the fishing line again & the tweesers & the magnafing glass to tie the line & hope the knots dont come out in the next high wind !

I dont have much planned for the rest of the week just show up at the shop , smoke drink & listen to some soft jazz , & in the words of Yokof Smearnoof , WHAT A COUNTRY !

Good morning to all it is a cool crisp morning here in da Burgh we had a touch of frost this morning & the trees are looking fine the reds & golds of fall are everywhere, the grass is still green & needs cut one more time but it will soon be November & thats late in the year to cut grass, but since I dont cut the grass anymore ( my wife has taken over the duty 100% ) , I used to ride the yard tractor & cut the wide open spaces & she would use the push mower to get into the places the tractor didnt fit , well she decidied that the yard just didnt look as good as it could when I ride , so she wants to cut the entire yard by hand, , , , , , so be it , let her do what ever she wants , now I have a 4 year old 16HP 42 inch cut lawn tractor sitting in the tool shed , I think I might take off the cutting deck & get a set of tire chains & a plow , then she will say the walk way looks better when it is done by hand & she will take over that job also hahahahahaha !!! ,
Since the weather has a little chill to it , I am going back to the Sunday POT ROAST , the cast iron dutch oven will get a good workout today , it saw little use over the summer & now it will be catching H3LL till spring, I also have a pack of smoked ham hocks & a bag of beens, looks like I have the making s for Soup !
the coffee this morning as it is most Sundays is Kona , & I have a pot of peaberry from Tanzania all ready to go in the second pot & I plan on spending all afternoon in the Qtr.Deck with my buddy Don Carlos III & maybe a nice contraband Churchill later after the pot roast , with a splash of single malt & a little espresso , maybe a nice piece of dark chocolate to go with it all, dammmm I am getting wood just thinking about it hahahahaha !
it was a good week at the shop, the alarm system got fixed, we were getting all kind of false alarms from the motion dector , it was going off & the doors hadent been opened , the only way that could happen is some one has to be inside the place when the alarm is set, but since the doors lock from the outside & you cant open them from the inside if they are locked who ever is in will still be inside when the police arive , well no one is there & the doors are still locked tight , the program on the alarm shows what time the doors open & for how long they are open , drives the alarm company nuts in the summer when I block the door open hahahaha , that reminds me we need an old fashion screen door next summer , maybe that will help keep the flys to a minium, , since the entry door swings out we will need to putht escreen on the inside , with a big spring on it to pull it closed , & make that sound I grew up with of the screen door slamming into the door jam & my mother yelling DONT SLAM the DOOR , ahh yes I miss that ! hahahaha

I have been looking for a new car or pickup truck for my self, but I just cant find it in my heart to get rid of the Sable, it has 156K on it, & on my last tank of gass I got 22.2 miles per gallon , I just hate to get rid of it , I looked at the new Dodge Dacota pick up & the full size ram , both were nice , & I looked at the ranger & F150 , & they were nice, the lifetime powertrain warrenty would be the factor there , & I looked at the fushion , taurus & sable as well as the escape & explorer, the Durango & avenger, the malibu, Impala & monte carlo , a few Pontiacs & so far I am at a cross roads , I want a Cobra cant aford it or a Jag, so the lamborginie is just out of the question , BUT I did see a used benz last night that I could afford but it had more miles on it than my sable, so that is off the list hahahaha , maybe I should just get back in the car business & go for the demo & not worry about anything, BUT then I would miss being at the cigar shop & who needs all the headaches of that rat rase , 10 years was long enough for me , but I do miss having a demo hahahaha !
Saturday was the LAST Scoccor game , AMEN, no more geting up early on Saturday to watch a bunch of 9 & 10 year olds running up & down the field not having the foggiest idea of what was going on , kicking a ball back & forth , tripping each other , getting a ball to the face & jamming your neck when the ball hits you on the top of the head, , fun to watch but I still dont understand a lot of the finner things about the game, , I have seen the pros play & it isnt near as good as watching a bunch of kids kicking at a rolling ball & missing it compleatly & falling on there backsides , jumping up & chasing the ball all over again, it is a mixed team , Boys & girs & most of the girls are better players, than the boys , more agressive & better foot eye corordination , dont get me wrong I dont want to stereo type anyone , but the jumprope skills are better suited than base ball skills when it comes to scoccor , & since my grandson has no athlitic skills at all he just loves to be with the team 7 plays to the best of his abilitys , when he runs up the field you can see the dancer in him , he glids smooth & even, not all that fast but he gets there usually late to take the shot or block a shot but he enjoys the games ! a fun time was had by all & thats all that counts

I am just about ready to get the pot roast started & head out to the Qtr..Deck , I picked up a Hogy Carmikel CD & a Gurshwin CD , gave them both a listen this past week & thing I just might listen again today, I love football season, allmy buddys are watching games & I can sneek into the Qtr.deck with a contraband smoke & not be disturbed & need to share one , hahahahahaha dammmm things are getting to be BIG BUCKS anymore , not that I am getting cheep or miserly in my old age but so manny moochers out there & no one ever has anything woth trading, heyt I will smoke a short story or a Marsh wheeling & it seams like all I ever get in return for a contraband churchill is a machine made or a cut filler Fuma from Don Nobody , sure I accept it with out much fuss & smile & say thanks , but dammmm I got to strart hanging out with a better bunch of smokers, hahahaha , yes there are a few guys who do have deep pockets & good conections for fine old smokes but I hate to be a mooch to them, so I just sit back , & relax enjoythe smoke , the coffee , music & the weeee dram I am going to have as soon as I get the pot roast going, ahhhhhh brown gravy, roasted spuds, carrots onions & garlic soime fresh herbs & a nice ripe tomato, UMMMMM heaven on a plate , well thats about all I have to day maybe I might remember some thing else but I am just to lazy today to think to much more hahahaha , dammmmm thats tiring , I havent had to think this much since last Sunday hahahaha Enjoy, Vince

The only new car I owed was a new Ford Ranger right after college. I loved that little truck! Now it is a company van, gotta love not having to worry about a car or insurance payment!!!

good morning , it is sunday Nov4 2007, ahhh yes its november but the trees havent given up there leaves as of yet & what was a fantastic landscape has dulled into a muted haze of dull colors & a few bare branches here & there , the trees in my yard are still holding a ton of leaves that will soon become fuel for the compost pile , all I need to do is WAIT for them to drop, rake them up & WAIT till next spring for the microbes to start turning them into gound cover for next summers herbs
Not a lot happening here in da burgh this past week, other than hitting the POWER BALL for 3 bucks I havent done a lot , the shop is running fine but we can always use a few more customers , this Past Friday was a buddys last day as a state police officer , he retired after 25 years , he got more golf balls 7 cigars for his retirement than he will be able to loose the rest of his life , but he will get a lot of help from me finishing up all the single malt he scored at the retirement bash , now I am going to get him a set of keys made for ther shop , he starts next week hahahahaha !
After a summer like start to fall this year we now have a DROP in the temp. real frost on the pumpkin , the grass got mowed for the last time this cutting season & the patio furniture is all put away & the back deck looks HUGE with out anything on it , the wind chimes are all hung in the shed with the lawn tractor & mower
I have some ribs & chops to turn into a Gourmet feast today , I havent figured out just what i will be doing with them but it will involve rice for sure , maybe an Asian style BBQwith the steamed rice or maybe I will get out the wok & fry the rice with veggies & some hot peppers , add a little zip to the meal
I have an Upman signature toro ready for the cutter as soon as I get breakfast finished , I had the pot of Kona early this morning , last night the clocks changed to standard time but my body is still on daylight savings time so I was up a bit early for my Don Carlos #3, I have a few minutes before I start to make breakfast, my daughter is comming at 10 am for breakfast so i am holding off on cooking till she gets here , IF she even shows up , none the less I will hold up a few minutes for her, but dammmmm I am missing quality time in the Qtr.Deck , the grandsons are off to an adventure filled day with there dad & who knows what trouble the 3 of them can get into, almost as much trouble as I can get into with them hahahaha , but lets face it Grandfathers are here to have fun & fathers are to hold back a little , why else would the gransons want to visit the stinky old man with with cigar breath hahahaha , flying kites is for amitures, I take them to the pool hall bowling alley, & as soon as they get old enough , we will be sitting right beside Al Bundy at the titty bar YES I AM A PIG , SO WHAT I admit it ! hahaha

well we took a break for breakfast & now thats its over I have a buddy stopping to fix the second computer in the Qtr.deck, we are going to hook up a wireless system so I can post & smoke at the same time , right now the only working computer is in the house & since I am not allowed to smoke in here I must run outside to grab a drag, dammmm am I going over board or what ???? well as soon as the wirless system is up & running I will be dropping ashes in the keyboard .
we have a short month here in November just 30 days tovmake the numbers at the shop & with Thanksgiving & BLACK Friday , I am confident we will make our numbers this month for sure

it has been a slow week at the cigar shop this past week, I guess the rise in gas prices has slowed the spending of the cigar smokers , gasoline is now over 3 bucks a gallon here in da Burgh , even at 20/22 mpg I average on my Sable , I have cut way back on my driving, no more saturday night & Sunday night cigar drives with the wife , I just head to the Qtr.Deck & listen to the radio there & have a fine old cigar sitting there & NOT burning any gasoline , dammmm I miss the time behind the wheel , , we allways find new country roads to travel on all over the area, we have been doing it for years & are still finding new , OLD roads , with the entire area of western Pa , & eastern Ohio, with a little bit of W.Va we have tons of unexplored back roads to cover, & if we hit one that we had hit before , so be it , no big deal,.

My wife , daughter, & my wifes sister are going shopping today , leaving me to do what Im want all day, I dont have top cook for them as they will be eating out, God help the retailers today, I shiver just thinking \about the three of them out shopping together , Bicker & fighting snide remarks will be the order of the day & that will just be exchanged amoung the 3 of them & if anyone comments about it all 3 will gang up on the offender , I get chills & will not go anyplace with the 3 of them, the last time I was stuck in a car with them , it was a Funeral for one of the aunts , it took a week of heavy drinking to forget the ordeal !

I dont need to cook anymore today , I am going to have leftovers since they will be gone all day , I plan on heading to the cigar shop for a little R&R today, no work just sit, I might even watch a little of the football game , well maybe not, if there are a lot of guys there i will take a seat under the tv since I dont want to take up a seat from some one who wants to watch the game , Steelers Vs Browns at Pittsburgh , well no big deal the final score isnt any reason to get upset about, no matter what happens the Sun will set this evening & rise in the morning !! Sports are fine when you are in school, but to be paid to PLAY A GAME , just bugs the h3ll out of me , millions of bucks are bet on the outcome of the GAME, , since it is called a GAME why do you need a PRO to play , GAMES are for children & I just dont see the draw in watching a bunch of millionairs running into each other, sure the moves are wonderful & the motion is almost like a dance . I under stand why Boxing is called the SWEET SCIENCE , man against man, not team against team, I am in favor the the david & goliath senerio, not an all out battle between armys of men killing each other , I guess I am getting soft in my old age , as a NAVY Vet I have seen the results of the Vietnam war & know a few friends who didnt come home in one piece , what is going on in the middle east right now isnt a new war it is a continuation of the Crusades fought hundreds of years ago between the Moslems & Christians , & I dont see an end to it anytime soon, when God brought on the flood of Noah , & said he would never distroy the world with water again that the next time it will be fire & brimstone, I think it will be the BOMB raining down on the area & the fall out will kill the reast of us , I have no facts to back it up, just my own personal thoughts , & I dont think it will matter who is thhe president when it happens , after hillary gets done ramming socilized medicine down our throats & Chelsy moves into the white house a few years after , by then Bill & hillary will be in nursing homes run by the federal government & George H Bush is still skydiving on his 1125the birthday & the guys on wall street are all speaking Chineese , things in the middle east will still be radio active ! Enough of the BS time for Coffee

Since I don t need to cook today I figure I might as well go sit & enjoy the BS as to being there working & enjoying the BS hahahaha , I have a pot of Kenya AA brewing right now & when I have finished it I might just take a little nap as I have a long time till kick off , ahhh yes a Sunday morning nap hahahahaha , maybe I better not, I just might sleep the day away ! Hummmmmm now thats a good idea , sleep the day away dammmm what a consept , I havent done that in a LONG time, Hummmm cigar shop[ or a nap, tuff pick, maybe I will flip a coin, heads I nap tails I dont ......... Tails , oh well thats the way the qtr. bounced , no nap, go to the shop & piss off the guys when I ask them to change the station to the food netork hahahahahaha

I have started my Christmas shopping , I havent bought anything yet I said I was just shopping, I hate that I just go in and BUY some thing but I have no idea what to get the wife this year, 37 Birthdays anniversarys & Christmasses & valintines days I am at a road block, gee I wonder if she would like a new set of Kitchen tools or a stand mixer? hahahahaha yea that would be like a wet fart in church !!!!

The leaves are starting to fall & we have about 6 inches deep in the yard under both maple trees, with a ton of leaves still on the tree s , I HATE to rake them up, let the wind take care of them is what I say, but my wife tells me different! so what else is new hahahaha

well since I dont have a whole lot to do today I better get a move on or at 9 Pm tonight I wiull still be sitting here in my shorts neding to get a shower 7 get dressed , I even went to the Qtr.Deck with just the robe on this morning, had to turn on the heat , dammmm I got to get a remote switch for that !!!

good morning from da Burgh, it is Sunday 18 November 2007 & we had our first measurable snow fall of tthe season this week , about a half inch on the grass but the streets didnt get as much more of a coating than any measurable depth , but it did snow, & the trees are still holding there leaves , , cant rake them when they are still on the branches ! ( yea like I will rake them when they hit the ground anyhow hahahaha )
The shop has had its good & bad days this past week, monday was better thanb a lot of past mondays & friday was a killer, the place was packed all most all day, a regular groupe from Penn State (Beaver county Campus ) & a second group from Geneva Collage all stopped & with the friday night regulars we went through 6 pots of coffee , dammmmm thats a killer on the coffee budget ! but with the increase in sales I think I will be just fine ! hahahaha , lets face it coffee (after water for the humidors ) is the life blood of the cigar shop no matter if your in Pittsburgh or Chicago, from NYC to L.A. coffee runs the machine & when you have the right coffee & the right Cigar , no IRS agent can upset your mood , cause when its right , nothing can get in the way of ENJOYMENT ! Lets face it if you didnt enjoy it why would you be doing it ?? hahahaha

with the holiday season closing in on us I have increased the inventory in the shop, & am taking advantage of a lot of sapecials from the reps, close out humidors will be on sale as soon as they get in the shop, , still havent got a web site built just way to much going on the place is just busy & when its not hustling & bustling I need to sit on my formerly Fatttt @$$ & rest a bit , just aint as young as I was 20 years ago hahahahaha

I sould be up & running in the Qtr.Deck , WIRELESS this afternoon Travis & Ginger will be stopping by to hook me up so maybe next sunday I can do this entire thing in one setting with my Kona & Don Carlos #3 in hand , BUT I have learned never count you chickensd ......

This past week has been a strange & wonderful time here in da burgh, the trees are dropping leaves, the snow is comming down & the Qtr.Deck is warm & inviting dammmm cant get much better than that , But this past thursday I was sitting all alone in the Qtr.Deck , no one stopped by for the thursday night smoke & scotch , Not that I am complaining I was smoking sipping scotch drinking coffee & listening to jazz on the CD player, now how could you complain about that ! , My wife was at Bible study , it was cold & raining & I was sitting in my easy chair, all warm with out a care in the world as long as she wasnt home hahahaha, no Honey do this or that , when she is at Bible study I am in heaven hahahaha , I know I shouldnt make fun of her for wanting to learn more aboutthe bible , but I enjoy my time away from her a few hours a week, after 37 years together I will need a break from time to time, like EVERY THURSDAY , & when I am at the shop she is just a phone call away, she hasnt been calling alll that much anymore , as I have told her again & again we need the line open to get the credit card & fax machine to work, ( we dont have a fax machine hahahah ) , right now I need to recieve a fax, she is talking & talking , & I am agreeing with what ever she has to say, YES DEAR I am listening , No dear I am not answering you in a condecending tone I am on the computer right now, dammmm did I just type wht I was saying dammmmm I got to take a rest , cant do this & talk to her at the same time for sure , , I will close the door & see if that helps, with out starting WW3 , no help she is still talking , , , , , , , I went out got the sunday paper , gave it to her & now all is quiet, she is reading the paper, dammmm I spoke to soon, now she is reading me a story from the paper , dammmm I dont seam to be able to get a break this morning ! .......
phone rang , it was the daughter , now she is talking to her mother, I GET A BRAKE!!
I havent been cooking all that much this past week but today I have a small hunk of beef, a little tip roast that will slice down into a sanwich later today , a little gravy & we have supper
I know I need to heve my diet looked at by a pro, I am getting a side view of my self & I dont like the looks , starting to fill out again & have gained 6 pounds , dammmm I worked to long & hard to slip back into the old habbits again, NO more eggs custard pie or pumpkin cookies , dammmmmm its tuff staying thin , but I guess it will be worth it when I am still alive at my grandsons wedding !, at the rate I was going I might have not seen his High school graduation !!

right now we are getting a lot of fly by night Fundraisers comming into the shop wanting to place candy on the counter for a "donation" , & when I asked how much the adminastration of the fund was & how much cash makes it to the said charity , he told me about 5% , FIVE % just 5 cants on every buc, got to pay for the display box , the candy it self& there is paying me for my time placing & collecting everything, so I ask him if this is all he has as a source of income , bragging he said yea man last year I reported to the IRS a personal income of 58K , well I guess your just a professional panhandler letting the charity of others pay your way, well he saw the way I was thinking , picked up his display & left with out saying much more , SCUMBAG !, 5 % to the chariity, 95 % for him, what a joke , & then there was the guy selling a "Discount " book, for 25 bucks with thousands of cupons for by one get one free deals at local eating & drinking establishments & out of the 25 bucks 50cents went to the drug task force for crime prevention, I never heard of the local drug task force , an other $$$$ maker to work on the sympathys of fools arround the holidays ,,,,, Oh what a world we live in
GASis hold ing at $3.09 a gallon right now , but who has any idea what it will top out at , oil futures are selling at 250 a Barrel for light crude, well right now crude is about 90 bucjs a barrel so if some money manager is buying futures at 250 hoping the price hits 300 well we are all in for a REUDE reality check, , I better hit the lottery when I can still afford to buy a ticket hahahaha !!
I have no idea what happened yeaterday, I had a Honey do list a mile long , most of it was running here & there, picking up dropping off & all the reast of the stuff that needs done from time to time & they were all short trips & would involve a great deal of time as I have been known to BS a bit at all the stopps , so i didnt light a cigar in the car as I know it will be out & cold when I get back to it , nothing worse that a cold stinky cigar on a wet rainy day , so by the time I got home to rewire the stereo with the new heavy duty wires & reset the speakers , I found my self CIGARLESS ,,, , ALL DAY ! just think how may rollers I put out of work all by my self, well today will be a bit different, the heat is on in the QTR,DECK all ready , the beef is in the oven & I have a mug of Sunday Breakfast blend , ( KONA & a snifter of single malt ) HEy like the song said, its 5 PM some place right now !
