Does/has anyone worked for AIG? I guess this applies to anyone in insurance

I have an interview with AIG to sell insurance. I'm wondering what day to day office life is like. I guess this applies to anyone in the insurance industry really.

i interviewed with them...I used to work in employee benefits selling American Heritage Life and other various stuff. Lots of phone calls...lots of visits.

I can elaborate with answered questions if you have any...sorry Imy post isnt really informative. the first four months is at a negotiated draw. By then you need to have alot of policies on the books to be able to draw commission... and youneed to make sure your contantly adding to compensate for chargeback on cancelled policies that will inevitably happen. If you have your stuff together and work hard, you can make a few bucks from this. just investigate market saturation in your area and find out the products they have and how they stand up to whats being sold locally.

well i worked for a big insurance company, but did claims...not sales. don't know if i could help much.
