I can see that this may take a general "political" direction. I didn't mean for that to happen. My main point was that it really ticks me that the gov't is so quick to tax my smokes without question!

It is the nature of government to grow and raise taxes. Our forefathers actually invisioned frequent constitutional congresses to re-invent our government. (We still have a great system, it just isn't perfect.)
