I'm back...And glad to be alive

I've been in the hospital for a couple of days. Thursday I had some sort of cardiac episode. I was at home reading the paper and I passed out. I woke up and it was hard to breath and I was sick at my stomach.

So my wife took me to the ER. While I was there I repeated the above episode while I was on the heart monitor. My heart rate dropped to 34 and my blood pressure bottomed out. That's some scary stuff...

So I spent yesterday in nuclear medicine and had a stress test done. I spent two nights getting woke up every hour or so to get stuck with a needle. The results were my heart was OK...Healthy with no sign of a blockage.

Now we just gotta find out what caused the problem. I'm prolly gonna have another round of tests soon in an attempt to find out what is going on. I've been under a bit of stress lately. My wife...Who is a nurse...Thinks that might be what is going on with me.

Wish me luck...I think I'm gonna try to get some sleep.

Scary indeed. Glad there was no underlying cardiac condition found.

I'm assuming no chest pain. Possibly stimulating your vagus nerve unconscously?

I wish you the best! Just go through ALL the tests...it sucks but hopefully something will show.

Hey brother, that is not a normal nor to my knowledge a sign of stress, sounds like some type of iron condition or some sort of blood problem. Sounds to me like you need to be checked from the rooter to the tooter. I hope all goes well for you my brother. if it is a blood condition then i hope you like lots of invasif tests this is what puts me off the docs and macks me only go if the pain is tooo much or if i pass out and again get well soon ken
