So called value deals

Many people go to restaurants, mainly fast food, and order the value meals thinking they are a deal. One place we go to is called WingStop. They have good boneless chicken strips. We would normally get the 16 Boneless wings pack for $21.99 which included: 16 boneless wings, large order of fries, celery/carrot sticks and sauce. After adding up the items by themselves to see how much we were saving, I found out we were OVER PAYING by 1.92 every time. I told the employees and they said they knew about it but did not seem to care.

So next time you order the value meal, add up the individual cost first, you might be surprised at what you are saving. The movie theater has combos that don't save anything. They just make it faster to order. I have emailed the company to tell them about their overpricing of the combos. Will let you know what happens. Yes I overpaid three times before I realized what was happening.

Remember: You're the only one watching out for yourself! The great value was for Wingstop, they get more $$$ for less product! Just cause someone says it's great, don't make it so. Thanks for the heads up.

Watching out for yourself is one thing, the next is to speak up about it. I complained twice about it.

I thought the government was supposed to watch out for us LOL. My problem is that clerks act like you're a nut if you don't get the combo.

Or better yet, I DON'T order the combo since it was overpriced, and they charged me for one anyways AND did not give me the celery/carrot sticks. So double rip off for me!
