Good O'l Saint Nick
[SIZE="3"]
On Christmas night, at the North Pole [/SIZE]Old Saint Nick has met his goal He ate the cookies and delivered the goods Throughout countless burgs and neighborhoods So now it’s time for Santa’s treat To take a break and rest his feet He sips a cup of sweet hot cocoa And plays some carols on the radio He cracks a window by the door Then he opens up his humidor And finds the cigar he’s thought about While hard at work upon his route He clips the end with special care And looks to see that no one is there Then feels safe and only then He holds the fire to the end With three quick puffs, he makes a plume Of smoke that fills the ancient room And as it dances in the air He rest his head upon his chair He draws again and blows rings out And watches them drift all about Ah, the solitude, he feels this night As smoke rings dance in firelight But just about to blow some more He hears a noise outside his door And scurries up to fan the smoke With his big red Santa cloak “If that is Mrs. Clause out there, I’m in trouble with trouble to spare!” For even Santa has to hide When he wants to smoke inside! [SIZE="4"]I could not wait till it getting closer to Christmas to post this. Merry Christmas my Brothers and Sisters.[/SIZE]
