Pain!!!!!
I had one of the most painful experiences in my life yesterday. I sat down on the toilet and the seat shifted. Hmmmm I noticed the inside of my left leg stung a bit, but didn't really think anything of it. Then I stood up... unbeknownst to be the toilet seat had cracked. (pauses for fat jokes)... As I stood up my weight came off the seat and the crack of the seat closed up with a sizable portion of the inside of my thigh in its clutches. If the rest of the family was not awake they woke as "OW FUDGE!!!" echoed through the house. (Alright you can guess what I really said.) I swear that toilet seat at most of the skin off my inner leg, but there was no proof left behind. My wife came to scowl at me, but instead laughed as she saw me dancing around clutching the inside of my thigh.



Moral of the story, don't be the cheapest toilet seat on the shelf...

Why is other people's pain so funny? Maybe because it's something that could happen to any of us. Don't know. But I do know that story had me laughing my butt off! I'm so sorry for your ouchie! But thanks for the giggle.

Two out of our three bathrooms have got me already. The builder did indeed use the cheapest seats he could find. I haven't been able to find a replacement however that has been adequately load-tested. It would appear that it is a little more common than I had first imagined. They should have a safety seat that shatters instead of cracking...

Attack of the scrotum-grabbing toilet seats just sounds like a really bad b-movie or something LOL. I've had that happen too, glad to hear that you weren't too badly hurt.
