I think I might pull my hair out...dealing with Cali ISP's
I've talked to dozens of ATT reps today in a vain attempt to get internet service at our new Satellite office in Bakersfield.
Nobody seems to have the ability to get me to the correct department. But it's not just ATT, Roadrunner, Covad and something called Bright House... Is everything in Cali this difficult? Ugh...I never knew we had it so good in Texas

Feel your pain on Satellite Offices, but this does remind me that I haven't listened to Buck Owens in a long time.

If all else fails this place will give you a wireless air card, no contract, and high speed service for $50 bucks a month. Purchase a Kyocera Kr1 mobile router or similar and you can set up your very own "hot spot" virtually anywhere in the country, it will even run off your cigarette lighter in your car or rv. Not a bad way to go if you have trouble getting high speed service.
