Bad day........(pics)

Got in a wreck this afternoon. I went to go pick up my girlfriend on campus. I was in a line of traffic trying to get over in the lefthand lane, checked over my shoulder to see if I could get over. While I was doing this, someone stopped to pick up somone in the street, traffic stopped while I was checking over my shoulder, didn't have time to react when I turned my head back around. Rearended the person in front of me. If it hadn't of been raining I would have been able to stop in time but.....Man i'm just not in good mood right now.

Yeah, i had just scraped up enough for new tires too. Tread isn't that bad towards the center, it's just really worn on the edges. But I still need new tires.

Normally I'd talk about how there would be less "accidents" and people getting killed on the roads if people would take the responsibility of driving more seriously. But I'm not going to do that.

Glad to see there isn't a hole in the windshield the size of your head. Been there and would *not wish it on anyone. Seems like you are ok for the most part.


P.S.: Before they ripped my grandmothers license out of her hands, she'd stop on the main roads [2-3 lanes] all of a sudden just to let someone on from a side street. Talk about being freakin' dangerous. Unfortunately, you are responsible for factoring in the stupidity of the person driving in front of you.

That's the crappy part, it's not my fault, but THEN IT IS really. Oh well, yeah I'm ok, my neck is a little sore, but I had lifted the day before so it was a little off before i got in the accident.

Unfortunately all i have is liability..........so this one is coming out of my pocket. Thankfully there was no damage to the other car. It was a BIG suv.

I drive a 98 Saturn SL-1 as my weekly commuter. I only carry liability and always have anxiety about it.

Think I’m gonna call my insurance guy tomorrow. For what it’s worth, your accident is indirectly forcing me to act on my anxiety.
