Meter Maids Suck!!!

I was in Baltimore today delivering. I was parked not in front of a bus stop, but down past it. I made the drop and when I came out, this Bitch is hovering over my car with her computer gizmo. I explain to her the situation, then she says"once I scan your tag, it can't be cancelled. I get the ticket for 52 bucks, and tell her this is criminal, and I hope her uterus falls out. Kill all meter maids for they have no mercy.:angry:

Ft Lauderdale is notorious for those kinds of tickets too...... I was visiting on biz once went into a resturant and because of the time of day on the meter got a 110 ticket..... there must be a better source of revenue for towns because the meters have to make doing business for the town merchants more difficult with BS like 52 and 110 tickets........

This is why it's good to ahve a camera phone. They start writing the ticket, get pics with them in it, showing the position of the car...

They get pissy when you do it too...

Ok OK! Perhaps I got a little pissed. Maybe it's because I live in the communist republic of Maryland.Our Gov, who when he was mayor of baltimore, 24 million dollars went missing. He then gets to the governorship, and raises our sales tax, and cigarette tax. There are 250,000 people in baltimore city, and only 135,000 meters. It's a cash cow and I just hate obvious attacks on the citizenry.
