Therapy my rear end

So Friday night Nikki and I go out to dinner. We are walking behind a group of older people. I assume they are late 60's early 70's, two couples and one lady is carrying a small dog. I am wondering how she expects to get into the restaurant with a dog. Well the hostess sits them and then comes back to us. I ask her abou the dog and tell her it is gross and probably a health code violation since it was not a seeing eye dog. After all the lady was carrying the dog. The host tells us that the lady claims the dog is for therapy. I am not kidding. I told the hostess that is sounds like BS to me. She agrees.

So I wonder if I can go to a non smoking place, light up a cigar and claim "therapy" and that makes it ok. The food and service were horrible. We ordered burgers that had the toppings mixed into them. They came out in a torilla shell and the plates where the size platters. We had a small two person table and they did not fit. When our server came back, we complained and he acted surprised that it did not come out with a bun. Like he cared.

Weird. Never heard of anything like it. Though I prefer not to smoke or smell smoke while eating, I was never all that bothered by it. As long as the dog was quiet I don't think I would care. Though some people are allergic so...? i dunno.

I guess its a red flag if the place lets a dog in. I love dogs but not out to dinner. That's really odd.

What does the establishment do when the dog starts licking his doo dads!. They will let a dog in, but not allow cigar smoking is horse squeeze.

That is what I was thinking. How well did they clean the table? I saw some kids and their parents sitting at that same table.
