Snow storm in Fort Worth, TX
Once in a while we get a good snow storm here in the Fort Worth area...today was one of those days. In the northern states where snow is more common most people drive responsibly (notice I said "most") and take care to maneuver through the ice and snow appropriately. NOT here! I was backed up with call after call about someone in a ditch or hanging off of an overpass.
Here are some pictures of the more peaceful and scenic snow accumulation. C.J.

I'm at TCU here in Fort Worth... I walked my ass nearly a mile to class when it was sleeting before it transitioned to snow... when I show up I am told class is cancelled and had to hike my ass back to my apartment...

Very pretty. Snow that is going away is always pretty.
However, once it gets high enough to cover your fence, snow is just plain annoying. (Six more inches tomorrow, twelve feet so far this winter, six foot accumulation in the yard ... ugh.) And people drive just as stupidly here ... |
