Smoke it or save it?

A friend of mine just returned from Iraq and brought me a souvenir. The question is, should I smoke it, or save it?
I'm leaning toward saving it. Does anyone know anything about this smoke?
Sorry about the picture quality. I took it with my crappy cell phone camera, the other one is the same cigar, just a pic I found on the net (I have the stick pictured at the bottom).

BTW, His welcome home cigar was a Padron 1926.

They are the same Cuesta Rey's as you get in the states, just in different tubes. I am planning on bringing some home as well. I'm pretty sure you can't get these anywhere except Iraq.

From CigarCyclopedia;

"A specially-marked edition of the Cuesta-Rey Aristocrat, a 7 1/4-inch by 48 ring cigar in glass tubes was produced for soldiers in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. A few were sold, but most of the 1,000 or so cigars produced with a special sticker were given away as a gift."

You can get the Aristocrats here. Maybe I should go get some before they run out.

Since its the presentation that is special, more so than the cigar itself, I say save it.

I agree. Who knows one of those could end up in the Smithsonian one day.

I'm as confused as when I posted. It seems there are a lot of differing opinions. :imconfused: oflmao:
I should have set up a poll when I posted so I could keep track of the "smoke its" vs the "keep its." But I didn't (and still don't) know how to add polls.
