the affect of cigars?

i’ve been enjoying cigars for a couple of years now.
but now that I’m smoking a cigar a day, I’ve noticed:

increasingly grayer hair,
my joints becoming stiffer,
more hair growing from my ears,
my hairline is receding,
my farts are more odious.

so here’s my question…

if I slow down (a cigar every other day), will these symptoms stop?

nah the symptoms will get worse if you slow down. I hear If you only smoke the really expensive cigars the symptoms will stop.

If you slow down on the cigar smoking - you will accelerate the onset of total grumpiness without effecting the mentioned symptoms.

You're 47 at your age:
You should have increasingly grayer hair
Your joints should become stiffer unless you get some exercise
You should have more hair growing from your ears
You should experience some hairline receding
Your farts will tend toward the more odious

Like my doctor stated a few years ago at 42 when I was in for rotator cuff injury from Hockey, a bad ankle from falling off my bike and a knee that was giving me trouble from a ski injury and I asked him why I was getting jacked up all the time...........YOU'RE GETTING OLDER!!

Re: the affect of cigars?

I think cigars are not the culprit. More likely the long term effects of being in close proximity to the fairer sex.

Re: the affect of cigars?

I'm no doctor, but I am sure the cigars are not doing you any favors. It certainly is not healthy to smoke but I think with cigars in particular, the stress relief and relaxing nature of cigars tend to mitigate the harm they do.

So what if they take 5 or 10 years off your life? What have you really lost? A few years of crapping your pants? Living in a nursing home? I say enjoy your life the way you will enjoy it. Eat a couple steaks a week and smoke some damn cigars and have a drink or two.

Too bad we don't age LIKE cigars. Or do we? Some people say they get a little better and mellower with a little age them!

my farts are more odious. I fail to see this being a problem, I call it a nice compliment to a fine night

I can hardly see doing anything more than what I suggest, will help. But if slowing down is what you choose to do, Tony, I'm in for the split with Matt and Dave.

Maybe you should smoke a Cremosa. Then you will forget all about that stuff because you'll be looking for that cat that pissed in your mouth.
