Good Lord! But do I ever hate figure skating on TV!!
WHY is it that the female of the species LOVES this crap??? I can tolerate many,many things that hold little or zero interest to me. But for some reason figure skating is like mental TORTURE!!!
Been fighting the flu for a week...... as well as rotator cuff problems in both shoulders for the two weeks previous. Going stir crazy in the house, can't taste anything, so no smoking, and skating is droning ON in the background!!!! End of Rant. FN in MT |

You need Direct TV really really bad.
I had a small libral tear in '06 luckily no surgery but it took a year to heal. Get well soon. |

I support your statement 100%, however, because my wife sits through many, many hours of OLN, Guns and Ammo Television and the like, I (every so often) volunteer to sit through some figure skating with her. To my horror, I've found that I now know what a Triple Toe Loop and Double Axle are. God help me.

Think of figure skating like you would NASCAR, there will be a wreck shortly.
And, remember, it could be worse. Your wife could find the HGTV station. (House and Garden TV for the uninitiated) They can watch room makeovers and flower pressing ALL DAY EVERY DAY. That will make you wish for figure skating.
